Yeah all the time!
The subject matter of my thoughts change in cycles. Other then that it's an everyday affair.
Yes definitely. Sometimes I even forget how it feels like to have OCD. Then out of nowhere I get a thought and I immediately feel that I'll fall back in the Compulsive cycle and bc the thoughts feel more real
So let me ask you guys one other thing I been meaning to ask. We all know OCD can throw the craziest and ridiculous stuff at you but do any of you experience times when you get a feeling or thought that you cannot exacty pinpoint or describe. It’s there but you can’t figure out what it is. You rack your brains trying to figure out what it is but you can’t and it’s very anxiety producing.
@CatLove9 Good morning Cat! Hope your having a good morning and feeling better!
Ok. Yeah I had this happen a few weeks ago. All I know for sure is that it was something to do with my theme. I stopped trying to figure it out and it just went away.
Hi jfount11117, yep my OCD comes in ebbs and flows, same with my themes and subtypes. Can be one thing and minimal one week and then something completely different and overwhelming the next. My OCD bully definitely likes to keep me on my toes for sure. Sometimes I will get an intrusive thought about a theme I haven’t been bothered with in year’s and like yourself and @CatLove9 stated it feels almost like the first time experiencing it all over again. I just adjust my ERP as best I can for whatever the new (or old) thing my OCD bully is throwing at me that particular day and try my best to overcome it. And yes, I have experienced similar feelings that I couldn’t exactly pinpoint, only that something felt “off” or “not quite right”. Happens a good deal with my “just right” OCD, some compulsion I could not even tell you what obsession sparks them other than they are in response to something feeling “off” or “not right”.
