I don’t know if this is ok to ask. I saw a new psych today after my old one retired unexpectedly. I just feel so isolated and like no one has my form of OCD. She apparently had a doctorate that specialised in rumination and confirmed I had OCD, but seemed a bit uncertain she could help me. I feel like such a lost case. I’ve put up with this P OCD for 13 years and it’s the worst thing in the world. Does anyone struggle with it too and is a female? I feel like I’m just not healing, I have toddler that I would give my life for. You think having a toddler would make the ERP work but things are just so intense with the intrusive thoughts it’s making me physically ill.
