Postpartum- formula shortage
In need of some advice. I have postpartum harm OCD and am recovering from postpartum depression thanks to help from antidepressants and mood stabilizers and NOCD therapy. Unfortunately due to medication I had to stop breastfeeding early, which made me superrrr sad. Now with the formula shortage I’m obsessing about starting up again. Technically the medication I’m on now is safe- I’ve confirmed with the pediatrician- but I still obsess that if I give my baby breast milk I’m a bad mom for potentially putting her in danger. Also I’m afraid all the hormones will make my depression return. Should I attempt to try breastfeeding again (not even sure if it’ll work but considering trying).
