Feeling guilty for staying home
I know exposure is really important, but lately I’ve just been feeling so drained by my intrusive thoughts that get triggered whenever I go out in public. I feel guilty for feeling like I need a day to just try to relax at home and not be around people, especially given the nature of my thoughts which makes me feel like a bad and avoidant person. Is it bad to need recharging time? Am I hiding and fueling the fear by consciously choosing to hang out at home right now?
