Litterally I was going through that for 2 weeks now, it’s starting subside for me. I went to the health food store a couple days ago and got some b complex vitamins, ashwagandha tea and anti calm pills. I take them a everyday twice a day. I can honestly say I seen an improvement . I don’t ruminate as much. The instrusive thoughts are subsiding slowly. Another thing is to get outside more even if it is a little walk outside . GO OUT clear your mind. Write your thought down. Talk to a close family member. You will get better I promise. I am right with you. Remember to pray as well!
Yes ma’am! That means a lot. I’m always praying but sometimes it feels like a compulsion rather than a genuine prayer. I tell myself that it’s okay for me to just enjoy life and that I don’t HAVE to do a bunch of things to make sure I’m a good person or my relationship with Jesus is okay. Rather enjoy life and as problems arise step up and solve them with love. That mindset I’ve had the past couple of weeks and it’s made all of the difference 🙌🏼🙌🏼 what are your thoughts on that? 😁
@Love I think that’s a good thing!! I’ve heard people say that praying is seen as a compulsion but honestly I would disagree. Prayer for me is only a boost for me to uplift my energy. Whatever Im feeling, everytime I pray it feels like my problems are at ease. You have always remind yourself that you will get better just don’t be so hard on yourself. Remember to do things that keep you happy. I remember when I had that very instrusive thought ( and it was the worst ever) I had no motivation for anything. I didn’t want to do anything, and that’s what ocd will do to you, it’s a distraction you can’t let it control or distract you .
@briii🌸 Yes. I understand exactly what you mean! Do you do therapy here through the app?
@Love No not yet, but I would love to !
@briii🌸 I gotcha! I also would like too I think. I’m going to talk to my parents again about it and see if I can get them on board
Thoughts about religion and harm ocd are the worst , but God knows the desires of your heart
Yes He does🙌🏼 but my ocd (at least I think it is) causes me to question what my desires are :/
