they aren’t always going to be there. you can have good and bad days
but i have been having too many good days i am starting to think this isn't ocd and just me struggling with my sexuality
search up “backdoor spike”. it’s ocd to get you to worrying again. though do not search too much and do not use google as a compulsion.
I get this too. When the thoughts are absent I forget all about how bad it was before.
yes and the anxiety was quite reassuring you know and now it's gone :(
@Nour04 I know right. That's the worst part. I always feel so guilty feeling this way.
Yes! This is actually quite common for people with different anxiety disorders! The absence of anxiety can be unsettling because one has become accustomed to having it and have a false sense that anxiety keeping them "safe" since anxiety, when appropriate, (like when you encounter a bear, for example) is a protective / survival mechanism. The fact that you're having more good days is an excellent thing because it means you're improving and the fact that you're a little worried it's not OCD is just a sign that OCD is popping up slightly, like the user above said. Try to sit with the uncertainty you're feeling and don't give into compulsions - you're doing great!
thank you so much!!!
