I had some of the worst anxiety of my life when I was doing Whole 30. I don't have any great advice but perhaps make sure to not let your blood sugar get too low.

No way?? When i did keto it made me better. How do you fast? 16 hours ?
Fasting is one of the absolute worst things you could do for both mental and physical health. Please do not encourage disordered eating habits here.
Keto, like other fad diets, encourages malnutrition and disordered eating (as much as its proponents want you to believe otherwise). Malnutrition and disordered eating cause both mental and physical illness to get worse. My advice would be to eat intuitively and not follow any fad diets, and to get professional help from someone who specializes in disordered eating if that is difficult for you to do.
I’ve watched people have a lot of success on keto. It truly is different for everyone. If you feel worse, don’t be afraid to switch things up and find out what works for YOU! Personally, my doctors have recommended Paleo. They’re treating me specifically for OCD, mood, and mental health. :)

@RememberWhoYouAre. Lots of overlap with keto but with additional restrictions on grain, sugar, dairy consumption.
