I had horrible POCD tied to a real event. Remember you have grown since then. That real event does not define you anymore and you are so strong.
A lot of times people who have OCD experience a "mingling" of their themes. That's because, at the end of the day, the subtype doesn't matter as much as we actually think it does. OCD is the doubt disorder - remember - it makes you doubt lots of different things. The intolerance of uncertainty and the intolerance of doubt in general is the problem - not the superficial problem as it presents itself like with our relationships, our sexual orientation, etc. Because doubt can come up in so many ways, that's why people often experience numerous different subtypes or feel like their OCD jumps from one theme to another. Doing exposure and response prevention for tolerating doubt in general is really helpful for this.
