Hi there! Yes, that is very common for ROCD, but I understand that it does not make things any easier in the moment. Your brain will always go after what is most important to you. This shows that your relationship is important to you and that it is something of value! Do your best not to ruminate--allow the thoughts to come, and do not try to search for answers. This will bring your distress level down in the moment, which will, in turn, help you in the long run! You can do this! Give yourself grace and show yourself compassion during this time.
