My advice is to try your best to remain present. I used to get road panic attacks, I haven't had one in over a month 🥳. Try your best to remain focused, and do not avoid driving because you're anticipating the anxiety, go towards it! And if you get road panic attacks, turn the air conditioner on full blast, limit external stimuli and practice square breathing:)
i suffered from severe driving anxiety for the past four years and i didn't get my license until recently. i know everyone hates to hear this, but the the best thing you can do to overcome that type of anxiety is exposure response therapy. start with baby steps, whether that be starting with a drive around the block or watching driving videos on YouTube until you feel comfortable enough to get in the car, trust that with time and faith in yourself you can overcome your anxiety. you're strong enough for this you can overcome it
