I feel you. I have the same feeling. I ruminate all the time and my heart is racing and can't find a way to calm down. The only thing you can try is breathing exercises and focus on your senses to redirect to the present moment. Breath for 4 hold for 7 exhale for 8 I do this everytime I feel that My heart will jump out of my body
Make time for low-stress activities that you enjoy: walking, coloring, listening to music, anything that allows you to relax a bit. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep if you can.
