I don't know if it helps but say it once: I'm me nothing else. And then don't argue with the what if questions. Let them come and let them pass.

You are looking for reassurance which is something very common with OCD. I do it too sometimes but that's something that it can only be overcome by going through the storm of anxiety. I know it's hard. Try going for a walk or do something physical that helps you burn the adrenaline from the anxiety. You are going to be ok. The thought is just a thought and it's not you. Be blessed

@run99 You are the observer of your thoughts. Let me put this way. The sky is your mind, the clouds your thoughts and you are the eagle (or whatever bird you like 😄) that can decide where to focus on and flight towards it. So you are you and not the thoughts that pop up uninvited.

@run99 Makes sense. But at the same time if you have existential OCD maybe you are looking for reassurance, which is normal for OCD. But what you are, and I'm not a philosopher, is a human being. A unique person capable of thinking, feeling and deciding and conscient of his/her existence which makes you of intrinsic value and worthy of Love and goodness. You are you. Not your thoughts or your feelings.
