Those were nice reasons, definitely keep that close to you because it can help you so much whenever you feel lost at any point. Always stick close to your goals and don't get lost in whatever OCD tells you. I think I'm getting a lot better in resisting rumination myself.

@SummerKissesWinterTears I think it has to do with the help of others that have beaten OCD with advice to share and keeping in mind the ways to get over compulsions. What I've done the past year is look at the good and bad habits I have with myself. The things that I am okay with and not okay with in my life. Any bad habits I have tried to change and, for the most part, cut off completely, whether it'd be any addictions, personality traits, compulsions, etc. I saw rumination as something that was not benefiting me. So much so that it would rarely give me headaches. Somewhere on YouTube on a video that discussed OCD talked about "not reacting" to OCD. Better yet, going along with whatever OCD says to the point where you're used to it not bothering you. It takes a lot of time to change, like most habits do, but it is absolutely possible. If ruminating is a problem for you, I would suggest doing things that are out of your comfort zone in regards to OCD and the compulsions you receive from it. I hope this all makes sense for you.

@SummerKissesWinterTears I'm more than glad that I can help people like you that are in need for it. Personally it's the best feeling for me to know that I can help someone and make a difference in their thinking or actions. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel for everybody. :)
