I’d rather drink today

Dude i drink everyday to numb the pain its not working anymore im literally just killing myself with alcohol

My brother just called me and told me the same thing. He’s been struggling with alcoholism for years. It’s stolen his relationship with his wife and kids almost bankrupted him. It’s not worth it ! Try to stay sober today if you can, go to a meeting, call a friend, watch a film, go for a walk ! You have a community here that supports you and empathizes.

Never drink when you're down

Sober 8 years here. Often I wish I could go back and not feel anything again but that really was a nightmare.
