It doesn’t have to “mean” anything, think of it this way- maybe your brain realized it was an intrusive thought so it didn’t feel the need to react anxiously to it :)
It means you’re winning the fight against ocd!! Ocd knows this and tries to weaponize your victories as a last resort cause it’s losing!! Don’t let it!! Just celebrate the win!!

I had a triggering thought earlier that didn’t make me feel as anxious as it usually does and my first reaction was ‘what if it didn’t spark as much anxiety because it actually isn’t intrusive and it is how I feel?!’ which then freaked me out and kicked in my reassurance seeking, so reading your comment made me feel much better!! Thank you!
@Dannielle Yes this is actually a huge thing in ocd it’s called the back door spike you should look that up it might be super helpful to know
