Very unsettled. I have this lingering anxiety within me but I'm trying not to attach any meaning to it. What about you

I get that feeling too. Like it’s not completely there but it’s still enough to be noticeable and annoying. The best we can do is attach no emotion to it and maybe cuddle in a blanket and watch a movie? I don’t know, sometimes that helps me and sometimes it doesnt

@Maryam0421 Luckily, I'll be going to work today and that tends to keep me occupied from hanging out in my brain.

@Tragic. That’s great. I don’t have school today since it’s the weekend and though I love enjoying my free time, it’s a great opportunity for the thoughts to come

Numb and lost. I don’t even care about my triggers today. It’s just background noise to all the other pains that I am feeling in my life right now.

I’ve been better but I’ve also been worse so I’m kind of just meh. But anxiety makes my throat burn does anyone else get that?

It’s a common tactic of OCD. It tries to make you feel hopeless and like it’ll never end because then you might give up and the OCD would have you all for itself. Just remind yourself that you’ve felt this hopeless before and you couldn’t see the end of the tunnel but you made it out. It’s just a cycle. Always remember that ITS TEMPORARY.

@Maryam0421 Thank you, seriously because I have been thru this before and made it thru but thought that I was free from ocd and it hit very hard this round, with a different topic. it really has you confused and just feeling awful but your right. It’s just a cycle

@Imtrigad0529 No problem. Also yeah a lot of the time I thought I was done with it but it’ll hit you again even worse than the time before. It’ll never go away completely and the only thing you can change is the way you handle it because hopefully eventually it won’t bother you any more. It’s like a toddler that u really hate. It comes in the room and you get anxious and annoyed and stressed by it’s nagging but eventually it leaves the room. But then it comes back again, you can’t make the toddler go away but you can change the way u see the toddler. Sorry it’s a silly example but that’s all I could think of 😂

@Maryam0421 I definitely agree lol It’s a baby definitely, it will affect you the more attention you give it, but if you just let it cry eventually it won’t be such a turd. I also like to think of it as Michael Scott from the office, when he was spreading rumors about everyone and they were very concerned and then in the end he was like yea I made it all up
