It's like sometimes I know I'm thinking of them so I think of like a sexual thought of like a kid or animal or sibling like something disturbing and I think about it to see if I actually like it and then I feel bad for thinking about something sexual like that for too long but it's just so I can see how I feel I Hate it:////

THIS IS THE WAY I FELT WHEN MY OCD STARTED. Believe me this is just reassurnace. I used get those thoughts looking at picture of kids , aunties and then when those thoughts arise I used to intentionally bring those thought so I can explain how it actually came and I didnt thought about it intentionallu and How it didnt sexually matter to me. I can assure that this is 100% OCD so do not seek reassurance once that thought arrives. Dont even give a second thought. Thoughts are thoughts. But Somehow if gets very hard just type or write down those thoughts it will give you time to calm down your body qnd brain for some minutes and you will eventually lose the urge to replay those thoughts.

For me its real event ocd , i did something really bad , it all stared with real event ocd , right now i am struggling with sucidle ocd , in last 2 days i have firgue out 50 ways to kill myself lmfo

You need to detach yourself from your past. Dont seek reassurance. It is not easy but this ocd will keep latching onto your past mistakes. It is a never ending cycle. Keeping moving my bro. You will once day outgrow this disease. β€

@Miserable It is every comman in ocd , use maybe and maybe not , do not try get on conculsion , when you feel like finding answers , just say maybe maybe not

I understand that. I'm actually having the same problem myself right now it's killing me.. n I keep purposely bringing on sexual intrusive thoughts so I can make sure I don't feel any way towards them and now I feel guilty for purposely bringing them onπ it's a whole cycle.

@Miserable I can feel you. This is a hard period but u need to resist reassurance. Try it as long as you can. Dont ever give reassurance or else it gains power and the thought starts to be part of your memory. Within a day or 2 once that anxiousness dissappers you will be able to think it the way it actually happened. This is the exact thing that happens with my false memory ocd. You have to trust me and not give up on compulsions. You can distract yourself as well . Talk to people or do something but do not give up on compulsion. This is a cycle. You can overcome it by resisting the complusion. Ypu will regain clarity and confidence on your matter accpeting the uncertainity. SENDING MY PRAYERS FOR YOUU. I SUFFER THIS EVERDAY AND I GENUINELY KNOW HOW THIS FEELS. GOODLUCK. β€

You know , everyone have intrusive thoughts , but for us ocd make us worry about them , more we get affriad more they come
