That’s amazing. How long did it take you to feel better
Around 8 to 10 weeks of intense erp , after figuring out a game plan . I had grief related issues also due to multiple deaths .
@Arthur9 How were you feeling before treatment ?
@NrseKris Oh my quality of life was close to none, anxiety was bad ..depression , scared of everything. Literally everything was the opposite.
@Arthur9 Wow that’s amazing and you’re feeling better without medication that is awesome. I wana feel better I have anxiety and idk if I’m depressed or not I’m scared and I have a fear of that .
@NrseKris Not reassurance* fear is healthy , it shows us things we don’t agree with/like . The problem with us is we latch on to the thoughts and zone in on them .. trying to figure it out . Our thinking pattern is stuck in a loop . This loop prevents us for continuing our normal activities. One way to help with this is * attack ocd before it attack us. Hence erp in a hierarchy. Gradually introduce yourself to your fears and continue your normal activities. A therapist here will guide you on how to safely practice this . I dealt/deal with some of your themes , so I can acknowledge how scary it is . So be kind to yourself and put zero timetable on your recovery but know there is a day that you’ll be better for this
@Arthur9 Thank you so much for this. Idk if this is a reassurance question or not but is it possible to fear your sensations or feelings and not just the thoughts ? If my eyes feel heavy or low and I feel foggy I focus in on it and get scared that it’s depression and I worry about it
@NrseKris I wanna know that, too. My thoughts jump straight to feelings and sometimes I don’t even catch the thought and then there’s the feeling.
@ellwitt Yes it’s so confusing cus if the feelings are there then it must be real ??? Idk it’s scary and I just wana know what’s going on with me
@NrseKris Anytime you’re looking for answer it is consider reassurance * I can’t diagnose symptoms but I can say: sensations could be influenced by fears/anxiety . Please give yourself the opportunity to talk to a therapist if you can . More so a specialist
@Arthur9 Yea you’re right, I’m gonna talk to a therapist tomorrow. Idk why depression is one of my biggest fears
@NrseKris I have depression and it sucks to feel hopeless on top of anxious
@ellwitt Idk if I do or not I’m not sure I just have this weird feeling that idk how to explain and my appetite is low and I’m not sleeping well but that could be anxiety too idk I’m just scared
@NrseKris I’m sorry you’re scared. It’s dang scary. But you don’t have to suffer alone. I feel ya!

I just started ERP therapy. But right now nothing helps much besides staying busy and trying to distract myself.
