I feel bad I’m at prom and Apple bottom jeans started playing, and my friend turned around when it’s said “give that big booty a slap” and I slapped her butt. She seemed a bit shocked. I profusely apologized after but I feel so so bad, even though she said it’s ok. I feel like everyone hates me now
This is a trick OCD will use to get you to ruminate, feel guilty, and do more compulsions, ultimately. Feeling like "everyone hates me now" is one of OCD's favorite thoughts, because it will cause distress that lead to more compulsions.

You said you were sorry, and that’s it. I’ve had similar experiences to this, but so does everyone ocd or not. OCD wants you to replay the moment over and over and give up time to stress anxiety and fear. Don’t let it ruin your night.

If my friends would be mad at me for that, they wouldn’t be the right type of friend for me. It’s a silly song. And we are silly with friends. I can’t be friends with people that get offended that easily. Life is too short to take it so seriously.

@unknown Yea I’ve experienced that too. Like we just aren’t close enough for them to understand my sense of humor or something. For me personally those friendships don’t usually last and I feel bad that they don’t get to experience my raw and uncensored sense of humor. Something I’ve observed is that people seem to get so offended by the littlest things these days. Back at my high school proms, everyone was slapping each other’s ass to apple bottom jeans lol and we were all grinding up on each other and getting real low on the floor when they say shorty get low lol. The teachers would literally have to come in and push us all apart from eachother because of our inappropriate dancing. Slapping your friends butt seems so benign.
@Maybe,MaybeNot Ya I know the relationship is not going to last. That night was kind of the awakening for that. I really appreciate your comments they have really helped me! I am always so worried about assaulting people so I was freaking out for a bit after that

@unknown Hey friend! I’m sorry, I don’t get on here a whole lot! You already apologized profusely, you were just being silly, what else does she want? If that put division in your relationship, think of all the other little things she is going to be uncomfortable with. Plus, life is WAY too short to be so uptight. Sounds like your energy may be better served directing it towards people who are on the same wavelength as you. You sound fun and outgoing and lots of people would be grateful to have you as a friend and have their butt slapped by you. Fuck her. Sorry haha I know that may sound a little intense and maybe she’s not trying to be mean and just needed to vent to her friend or whatever, but for me having a “fuck it” attitude can really help me move on from these things.
