Hey Suma! I’ve had this thought before. Trust me it will go! But with me the new obsession is Narcissism and I am having intrusive feelings rather than thoughts that are all the symptoms of NPD :/

I did! For a long time I suspected that I was histrionic. Horrible experience, I hated myself. (Eventually something clicked in my brain and I decided that ‘I had the disorder but recovered’, and stop obsessing over it. Though in retrospect now, I probably never had the disorder.) You’re not alone OP! Please, don’t give up. OCD is the doubting disease. It makes things feel so real, but they’re really just lies. You’re not alone. ❤️

Hi! I know this is like 8 months old, but I used the search bar and found this thread. I have the exact same thing! If you’re still going through it, it would be so cool to talk and relate to someone about it. And if you’ve passed from this, could you help me / give me advice (I’d really appreciate it!). Thanks :)

@honey they probably aren’t feelings, just thoughts that OCD passes of as feelings to scare and control you. If you don’t want to be a narcissist or a psychopath then you’re not one.

Hey!! Although I get thoughts and fears around it here and there, I’d say I’ve tackled this ‘theme’ and I’m way better now. It took a lot of acceptance internally but I like the person it made me. I feel like I’ve gained a more conscious effort to do better. Please talk to me if you need help; I’m here for you!

@garden :) Thanks that is so sweet and I am so happy you kick this theme out ! It just looks so true during ocd attacks :( but I am aware that I can have npd hpd ocpd bpd all at the time so my fear are delusional

@bebrave❤️ Yup our fears are very delusional! Just always try your best to avoid reassuring yourself, no matter how good it feels. It’s a short term fix. And don’t seek it either. A fear is just like any fear, and it’s okay to be anxious. We shouldn’t avoid feelings. We can feel anything and think anything and that’s ok. What matters is how we spend our time here, and if it’s all wasted on compulsions like reassurance and ruminating, it’s not worth it! It’ll be ok

@garden :) Thanks you this is so nice of you! In fact I believe this is not a common ocd thoughts so it is difficult to believe it is ocd
