Omg same! Because at the end I know I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with them but the fact that I have them makes me question everything and it’s so tiring

Most all human beings, especially females, are attracted to people of both sexes — check out Lisa Diamond’s research about fluidity of women’s attractions. In trying to make you choose one way or the other as your “true” orientation, OCD is giving you an impossible task because attractions aren’t on that binary for most people (at least for most women). And OCD can’t railroad you into a particular future: even if your attractions WERE mostly to the same sex, you could choose an opposite sex marriage and build a happy life together, if that’s what you value and desire. So true attractions or false attractions, it doesn’t really matter because you have the power of choice for what kind of life you want to live.

Never forget that it’s normal to be attracted to people even if you don’t recall it as you’re orientation! But the problem is that I questioned everything so hard that I hardly can distinguish what I really feel, want or am. Sometimes I just feel like I’m losing myself and my mind over it

Exactly the same feeling, I feel like it might mean something if I’m already questioning myself so much?? But does it really mean something or is it just a fear like any other?

@Kalta you're basically saying that women can find both genders attractive? if so then its true i guess

That’s the gist of Dr. Lisa Diamond’s work, and I agree with her, both from my own experience as well as deeply honest conversations with many people over the years.

@idont241 have you tried ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)? Its principles have helped me a ton. Also Jon Hershfield has got great stuff to help with HOCD.
