Is this a good exposure? Need help

It is about cooking, and contamination OCD (chrmicals) Do I just finalize cooking this plate? I washed some carrots and put them on the counter. When I grated the carrots a lot of the preparation fell outside the plate, falling on the counter. It looked clean so I putted the grated carrots back in the plate. There was a liquid and I smell over and over again, I fear it might be bleach or dishwashing soap with water and I could intoxicate my whole family. It doesn't smell like anything tho. It is all mixed with the carrots, it could be just water or chemicals with water. Do I just cook it as an exposure? What would you do?
