I’ve been through several different medications for OCD/GAD/depression/etc. over the past several months and nothing has really helped me. I’m extremely sensitive to medications, so I can’t tolerate high doses. Trying to find something that works can be incredibly frustrating. You’re not alone!!❤️

@marlene.zupp@yahoo.com Oh, absolutely. I often feel so alone when going through this, especially when I see friends of mine who can get on an SSRI and be feeling great within a few weeks. But I try to remind myself that a lot of people are going through the same thing as me. We are so strong. I’m so proud of you!

I feel you. Lexapro worked on me for a cpl years ago and then stopped. Luvox didn’t work and neither Zoloft. I get tired of it too. Been 3 months feeling this way. I’m sick of it

What dose are you taking? Often ocd requires a much higher ssri dose than other anxiety disorders

Zoloft 200 mg seemed to work for me. It will never completely eliminate the thoughts, but with a combo of therapy and meds you can definitely return to a sense of normalcy

I just switched last week to Effexor. I’m weening off the fluvoxamine so I’m only in 37.5 mg until Tues then I up it to 75

hi there, i suggest to bring up the idea of ketamine infusion treatment to your psychiatrist. i hear it works when regular SSRI’s aren’t working for someone. it’s a newer treatment so i would research and have an extensive talk w your providers ofc!

When I was on Prozac I was outside the range at 120mg daily for my OCD. I tried other drugs, many in my 35 years, and Effexor and Remeron are the best and have been for over 20 years.

225 now, and Remeron 30. Since I stupidly tried to get off and try something new, I am taking 10 mg Inderal while I wait for my full Effexor to kick in. Effexor and Remeron is known as California Rocket Fuel. I am from So Cal but is wonderful.
