Scary moments last night 😭

Can anyone relate?? My worst fear is seizure/brain tumor/ cancerous. I know that one of the symptoms of a seizure is deja vu so for the last few days my mind has literally said “what if you’ve been in this situation before” and so now I’m on edge every minute of the day because i think it’s deja vu. But last night was way more scary. I literally had a moment where it felt like real deja vu but i don’t even know what it was about. And i keep ruminating on it. Like i literally have no idea what happened but it was beyond scary. And then usually sleeping is my safe space because i can escape my mind. But last night i woke up in the middle of the night with anxiety and the right side of head and back of head had a sensation. It’s not like i woke up out of my sleep because of a severe headache because honestly it didn’t really hurt it was more of a sensation. And so now I’m completely freaking out even more than before 😭 has anyone ever dealt with this before? Deja vu? Head sensation?

Hi. I know how you feel. Not with the specific head thing but the impending doom of health themes. I’m in it right now. Mine is more focused on just general Malaise and therefore my days are counted. It’s always the worst case scenario. I feel nausea and fatigue so I must be dying. I understand the fear. I’m no doctor but I suffer from ocd and so do you. My guess is we will both live another day and this will go away. We are human and vulnerable to life. Ocd makes us more vulnerable on our minds but it’s NOT real. I hope you feel Better and are able to face off that little imp that is OCD! he’s the scary monster under our bed but he’s not real!!

I totally relate about the health anxiety. I have had sensations in the right side of my head, ear, throat and freak out thinking it’s something sinister. Anything I experience I go to worse case scenario and freak out.

@divyD Omg yes. The right sided sensations are what I’m dealing with right now. And it’s the fact that’s it’s all in one side that is beyond scary. Occasionally i will get a pain in my left side and that makes me feel better for like a minute but yes i freak out.

Reading your post has been quite reassuring for me and I've felt exactly like this before! A few months ago I convinced myself that I had MS after hyperfixating on whether or not my face felt numb - the sensations felt very real but have gone away since I've stopped questioning whether or not I have that condition :)

@Anonymous Just read somewhere that sometimes we can have the symptoms/sensations of a health issue we are thinking about.. phantom symptoms?

@Anonymous Yessss! Currently in this as well. I keep pinching myself on both sides to determine if my right side is numb. I keep examining my face to see if one side is limp and sometimes i feel like it actually looks limp. Glad you are feeling better though!

@divyD That would make a lot of sense and i hope it’s true because ever since this fear of seizing and Brain tumors it feels like i feel everything pertaining to it. Head pains (one side), numbing, eye twitch, neck pain, etc. And that is why i get beyond scared like it actually could be real.

@Anon17 Not to mention more symptoms like nausea, weakness, blurry vision, etc. it’s been a rough couple days

I’ve had this fear, it comes and goes but with erp tools it is much easier to manage

I feel like I'm losing my mind I can't trust it

I keep seeing coupled numbers or angel numbers and having dejvu and in my mind when I get constant Deja Vu which in my mind means something bad is about ti happen I have had it 6 times today 3 in the last hour and I honestly feel like I'm going insane whether its Deja Vu of the numbers it causes me to question every action I make. If I see the numbers or get Deja Vu it dictates my day and I can't live this way anymore. Everyone I try and talk to doesn't understand and there is no way I can ever tell anyone about my violent intrusive thoughts the one time I did my mother called the police. Sorry for the run-on sentences and if it doesn't flow right I'm just really struggling right now and have been for a long time and I just want help I'm scared of my own mind. Thank you for whoever answers this post just one person would sadly make my day.

Afraid of vertigo

Over the years I’ve had vertigo a few times. The most recent couple times have been debilitating. Like I can’t even get up and walk, my head is completely spinning, I get hot and nauseous and have even vomited. I pretty much have to put my head down with my eyes closed until it passes, then I have to basically lay down the rest of the day or for a few hours before I’m back to normal. I don’t know why I was having vertigo before, and I haven’t had it in probably a year or so, but I’m always afraid it’s going to happen in certain scenarios. At work with clients or sometimes while I’m driving. My anxiety then kicks in, which makes me feel a little lightheaded or weird, which I’m then monitoring for vertigo, and the cycle continues until I’m out of the situation. I’ve never had vertigo during these times and even if I did, I know I could handle it. But it’s so annoying! I feel like this is somewhat related to my OCD and it’s definitely related to my anxiety. Anyone dealt with anything similar?

Scared I have a brain tumour

I had a migraine a little over a week ago after a few months of tremendous stress and anxiety. For a few days I was okay apart from a mild headache but then i got it into my head that I have a brain tumour. Yesterday I had the worst panic attack ever caused by all this overthinking. I started getting really dizzy, numb face and arm and I was convinced I had been correct and did have a brain tumour. The panic attack subsided after I calmed myself down a little bit but I am so anxious that I have a brain tumour. The numb feeling disappeared after the panic attack. But i have a dull headache, had a twitchy eye sometimes, and neck twitches. Sometimes when I really think about it I feel like I can’t focus or keep my vision straight. I can’t stop panicking about it I’m really really scared that there’s something wrong with me. I’m gonna go to the doctors to ask about it but i just needed to vent. I feel like recently I’m spending all the time thinking I have a brain tumour and it is honestly terrifying me so much.
