Wow. To think that the very stigma around mental health we are trying so desperately to eradicate, the grouped pressure to ACT as sane as possible, and therefore "look" sane, might be our biggest motivator, and our one and only savior. How ironic š³. I guess our collective societal norms (which are most often defined as some sort of "outdated limitation to human behaviour") are sometimes needed for rehabilitation, as it turns out. And rather than holding us back, "bringing" us back. Re-opening the gate to a "childhood-like freedom" (a libertyš½). Who wouldn't want to reclaim that? I want to renew myself from compulsions, back to an age when they didn't feel like "obligation"
Wait are you saying that I said something bad?? I didnāt mean to, I just feel like from me personally being around people who donāt take mental health issues seriously (my family and others) I donāt feel comfortable talking or even thinking anything near themā¦because I feel like they could tell I am. I feel like I act weird or maybe make weird faces while Iām having intrusive thoughtsā¦
No, I'm agreeing with you š
