Comforting Bible verses
I thought it would be great to share some comforting Bible verses with each. Feel free to comment your favorite Bible verse or just one thats really comforting to you.😇❤️ Here's one, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed. For I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will up hold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:13.
2 Corinthians 12:7 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. I have been on counceling with NOCD for awhile now. I have never looked at the app much. I decided to look on here to see if I could find some help and encouragement. I am so encouraged to see your post! Thank you for sharing this verse and for the other so shared as well.💖
I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I just had a disturbing thought of my future debilitated by my ocd. I feel I need to see my pastor to learn how to accept uncertainty and bring my trust back to the Lord.
I am also seeing a pastor tomorrow to help work through some trauma from my childhood. Im really hoping that takes care of some of my OCD.
Jeremiah 29:11, for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

I'm religious, so anyone else who is religious I need to know if this happens to y'all. When I read the Bible, which I want to do twice a day, I feel like I have to reread and reread stuff bc if I didn't comprehend it properly, something bad would happen, or my fears would come true. I also have intrusive thoughts that come into my head about what I'm reading and the thoughts will say something bad about the Bible or about God, and it's like I know God knows I didn't say it but I have to "undo" the thought by getting up out of my seat completely, and saying something that "undoes" it then I can sit back down and read. Sometimes I also shake my head or hit myself in the head trying to rid of the thought. And say "no, no, of course not" and stuff like that trying to undo the thought that intruded...
As horrifying as some of these posts or should I say thoughts are, I find relief that I am not alone. WE WONT LET IT WIN. God bless you all!
