@Hope_Healing Hey! can u pls replie me fast..
@Hope_Healing Hey @Hope_Healing can you tell me about your therapy? because i am also from india.. it will be a great help for me..
@Anonymous Calm down man. The notifications on this app doesn't work sometimes. That's why I didn't see your message. You shouldn't go overboard with someone. I'm not comfortable sharing the name of my therapist. You can ask NOCD about what therapists are available in India.
@Anonymous So it takes 14-15 sessions mostly for someone at NOCD. Each session is Rs 8000 something as I mentioned as it is in USD ($100). For two months they'll give one hour sessions for this amount and then half an hour sessions for Rs. 7000 something ($90). I've had only two sessions and I can see progress. The first sessions is diagnoses and introduction and second involves psychoeducation where they teach about OCD. On my third session I'll be discussing my ERP hierarchy with my therapist.
@Hope_Healing hey sorry dude.. i was just worry you know thats how ocd works right? π
@Hope_Healing yes i know about the payments.. Okay nice to hear about your first session..
@Hope_Healing yeah i already talked in call with them.. only two are available in india.. But i wanna know the name.. is it "heather driver" or "lourdes" which one you are working with ????

@Hope_Healing Yes hope to you the same..
@Hope_Healing hey!! How often do you pay for your session's??
I need a therapist who specializes in Pocd Iβm struggling please tell me how much can you discount me because NOCD doesnβt take my insurance
Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a difficult situation and I wanted to ask for some advice. I recently finished my studies and I am living from my savings while I look for a job. However this process has turned out to be a lot more difficult and tedious than I expected. I suspect I have OCD as I relate to a lot of the experiences described here, in particular those corresponding to pure OCD. I have continuous intrusive thoughts about how what I'm currently doing is not enough, I constantly need to reassured that what I'm doing is right, with some magical thinking and concerns about my relationship sprinkled in. These intrusive thoughts have made it very difficult to make any significant progress in looking for something. Added to this I'm not even sure I have OCD as I don't have the money to afford therapy right now (my mind keeps telling me that it's silly to write this message because there's no way I have OCD). I live in Switzerland so as far as I understand my insurance won't cover sessions with NOCD. In conclusion I'm a bit stuck, therapy would help with finding a job but I need a job to get therapy. If any of you have had any similar experience and have some piece of advice it would be very welcome.
Has anyone else had a rough start? Iβm 4 sessions in and have had no actual ERP work happen, I have 2 different therapists because none have availability to meet 2 times a week. Both those therapists are not available for the next 2 weeks so now Iβm going to see a new 3rd one. Each time Iβve seen a new therapist I feel like the whole first session is spent with them re explaining everything. Iβm paying for this out of pocket because they donβt accept Tricare which is my insurance as a Retired Marine. So Iβm 960 in, and honestly feel worse than when I started. I get zero suggestions on what to do between sessions and feel so incomplete after my session finishes. I feel like Iβve gotten more help asking chat gpt questions on EPR and how to deal with ROCD than I do in my sessions . Does anyone have any insight or helpful advice here?
