LaPink I have a therapist and he already diagnosed me with SEVERE OCD. Especially the obsessions are on another level. There was a time where it would be ALL I thought about for the entire day, even when doing other things NOTHING made it go away. And I don’t mean thoughts constantly popping up all day long I mean one after another after another after another ALL. DAY. LONG. it has finally passed that stage but it still is FAR from good.

My therapist is an OCD specialist THANK GOD because every other therapist I’ve seen over the last 9 years has done nothing to help me with OCD (some, not all, have helped in different ways, but not in regards to OCD) he is really great I’ve only seen him about 4 times so far.

Joeyhc. I hate to break this to you but that isn’t always true. There are rare cases in which certain people suffering with severe OCD such as myself can follow through on something they think. I did it before. (NOTE: I have NEVER smashed a jar or ANYTHING on top of an animal or anyones head) the fact that I did something before sends the anxiety isn’t a spiral because I have no way of knowing if I will or won’t do something like this again.

LaPink, I don’t feel like doing anything a lot of the time. I just feel numb. I’m also incredibly depressed so that doesn’t help.
