The thing that is bothering me the most about owing this app over 2,000 dollars is that every single week I had therapy I checked for a bill and it was always 0.00 dollars. Now that I have been done for months, I am emailed incessantly about my outstanding bill. Make this right NOCD. Your are a new company that needs to work out it’s kinks but I cannot afford this.
It takes a few weeks for the bills to actually go through. The $0.00 changes to the actual amount after insurance after a week or so.
@MasonTurbyfill This wasn’t a few weeks, this was months. Also, the issue is I would have canceled immediately.

@Anonymous What isn’t? You were aware how much each session costed right. Were you checking your bank statements every month to make sure it was coming out?
At some point you signed a document agreeing on a price for services provided. Just because the charge didn’t show in the app, doesn’t mean you don’t owe it. Did you really think you were getting therapy for free?

@Anonymous You can actually see on your account how much each session costs. I’m sorry it’s all added up and come as a shock but it is there. You would’ve had to have read and signed several contracts.. disclosing price, conditions of payment and information about outstanding payments etc. If you can’t pay it all at once, phone NOCD and discuss paying it off in instalments. Please read the contracts and forms you sign more in depth… at least you’ve caught it at 2k.
@Anonymous I had an initial call and they said I was fully covered. I understand that medical bills add up but I took the responsibility to check for a bill weekly.
I really do want to go to therapy or psychiatrist to diagnosed my OCD and give me a treatment but it costs a lot. OCD ruins my life and consumes my mind I wish I can take a break from my own brain. Having OCD but undiagnosed feels like I’m crazy because people think I made that up but they don’t know how I’m struggling since I was a kid. So anyone have an advice for treat OCD especially checking OCD that doesn’t cost money? because I don’t work yet..🥲
Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a difficult situation and I wanted to ask for some advice. I recently finished my studies and I am living from my savings while I look for a job. However this process has turned out to be a lot more difficult and tedious than I expected. I suspect I have OCD as I relate to a lot of the experiences described here, in particular those corresponding to pure OCD. I have continuous intrusive thoughts about how what I'm currently doing is not enough, I constantly need to reassured that what I'm doing is right, with some magical thinking and concerns about my relationship sprinkled in. These intrusive thoughts have made it very difficult to make any significant progress in looking for something. Added to this I'm not even sure I have OCD as I don't have the money to afford therapy right now (my mind keeps telling me that it's silly to write this message because there's no way I have OCD). I live in Switzerland so as far as I understand my insurance won't cover sessions with NOCD. In conclusion I'm a bit stuck, therapy would help with finding a job but I need a job to get therapy. If any of you have had any similar experience and have some piece of advice it would be very welcome.
Does anyone else find it odd that we are told we are “covered” and then six months later get bills for $800 + because we weren’t actually covered fully? If I had any idea earlier, I would have stopped. Nope, I’m told I’m covered and appointments are forced on me weekly, only to find out that the amount I’m required to pay with insurance is more than I paid out of pocket? Please confirm with your insurance carrier to avoid this horrible discovery in the middle of an economic crisis.
