What sorts of things do you guys journal about? I did my last journal about mostly symptoms as I am going through the diagnosis process. I thought it would be useful to the psychiatrist. Now I want to broaden that idea but I need ideas to kick start me please. Ty. Btw Waterstones wanted nearly £30 for a journal. These were less than £11 for two in HMV. I know if I spent a fortune I wouldn’t use it from experience.
I journal about my day and life events.
@Nica That’s what I’ve done mostly. Plus I’m adding my silly thoughts and jokes etc because I’m a bit “out there” and witty when I want to be.
i try doing a daily journal log which i’ve not done in a few days but talking about the symptoms, how i’m feeling, adding a daily song at the end .
@ocdhaver22 I was looking at bluetooth polaroid printers. I could stick in little photos.

@ocdhaver22 I looked at Polaroid ones which were expensive but now I’ve found much cheaper Kodak ones which is still a good name. I get paid Friday do that’s happening. I don’t know whether you’ve heard of Cornwall but that’s where I live and there are plenty of things to take photographs of here, it is a photogenic goldmine.

That’s about right 20 miles. Birmingham is okay, just watch the beggars who will approach you. Nobody needs 20p for the phone and nobody has lost their train ticket to Liverpool. Those are all scams. And whatever story the passive beggars have written on cardboard is a lie too. Of course if you want to pay for someones drugs carry on but they have access to more food than they have any need for. I used to be homeless and live in hostels etc and I think it is disgusting what they do. Visit Birmingham as they are the second biggest UK city and the shops etc are fantastic. The Black Country Museum is near Birmingham and that is where they film Peaky Blinders. And near to there is Dudley Zoo and Castle. These are small things but if you’ve never seen a castle then there is one there. Birmingham has art museums, history museums, the science museum, The Bull Ring shopping centre which has good shops. Right above the main station is like a big food court, the food is good. They have three big department stores: John Lewis, Selfridges, House of Fraser and you’ll find good presents in them for people or yourself. I never really did the restaurants in Birmingham but Jamie Oliver had a restaurant there for Italian food as did Marco Pierre White. There is a symphony hall, several theatres (The Hippodrome, Reperatory Theatre, The Alexandra Theatre). If you want a night out they have bars and clubs all over but especially on Broad Street. The buses can get hairy if someone tries to get on without a ticket. They try to attack the driver sometimes, just ignore them, the driver is protected.
