Anti Vaxxers getting to me biggg time. 😭😭😭

I keep reading stories about people who have suddenly died from heart attacks or cardiac arrests and it is freaking me out. I just read a story about Leslie Jordan’s official cause of death not realizing it would trigger me. I thought he died from a car crash but when i read the story it said he suffered from a “sudden cardiac dysfunction” and that caused him to crash the car. People in the comments are saying “so many people young and old have been dying lately”. And i cant help but agree with it because its true. There has been so many deaths lately ( mainly heart and stroke related on top of it). And then today i seen an article about Lisa Presleys frantic 911 call before her cardiac arrest and that triggered me. But these anti-Vaxxers are really getting to me. I believe it more and more every time i read a story about a “sudden cardiac arrest”. I keep telling myself that Leslie Jordan had a previous condition, Lisa Presley had a family history of heart conditions, and even bringing up Damar Hamlin again, i know that he was tackled and thats what caused his. I keep telling myself that it’s a super odd coincidence that these all happened close together but then the anti-Vaxxers get in my head about just random people. Why are all these random people young and old having cardiac arrests? I just read a story about a 7 year old in a coma after suffering cardiac arrest. And everytime i read a comment about its all related to the Covid vaccine i actually believe it because it just seems so weird that there has been so many things happening lately. Not to mention that yesterday i was completely fine. I was finally veering away from my heart disease fear and now im sucked back in. 😭😭

I absolutely had this fear as well. I don’t want to provide reassurance so I’ll say this: 1. That may be their experience but it’s not yours. 2. Not everything you see on the internet is applicable to you.

Are you scared you will have these issues? When did you get vaccinated? Or are you worried about getting a vaccination?

@OCDMM I am already vaccinated. I’ve been vaccinated since the vaccine became available in my health care facility. I don’t know how long its been. A year maybe? So now I’m scared that i do have the vaccine injected into me. And yes im scared of having these issues. I’ve been reading so much about heart attacks, strokes, cardiac arrests, etc. and the comments all lead to the Covid vaccine. And usually i would brush these accusations under the rug because i know they just want to be political, However its been happening so much lately that i cant help but think maybe its true.

@Anon17 I definitely think there is something to all of the stuff going on as well. That being said, from what I understand, if you were going to have issues, it would be in the first few months after the shot. I think you’re in the clear after this much time has passed

Thats what i keep telling myself. They say short term effects happen with a few weeks and long term effects happen within 6 Months. So the fact that nothing happens yet makes me feel good but there has been way to many coincidental stories lately

Fear of death.

When my friend was 17, she passed away. She had a heart condition which lead her to a heart attack, and it was devastating for all of us. Once I turned 17, everything came back. It started with research. I was constantly checking what the first sense to go was when you die, or how common a heart attack is. But now, it's turned into my brain telling me that if I don't stay up until 4:30 in the morning, when having to wake up at 6:30, then I will die, my family will die, or everyone will die. Or, if I don't touch my computer the exact same way 3 times I will die. I am so sick of these thoughts and I guess I just want to know that I'm not alone.

Health ocd is really bad today

Hi everyone. I take hydroxyzine 50 mg every night for anxiety for about five months. I’ve been experiencing at least one heart palpitation a day so of course I went down my googling spiral and saw people say it gave them cardiac arrest? I’m only 19 but I’m so so scared. Please someone help me.

Afraid of my health/overthinking

I went to internal medicine today, and i'm not perfectly healthy, My liver is a little bit fat, I have to lose weight so thats okay, also I have gallsand, which is not gallstone yet but it can become that if its not treated. Now im like these arent big problems but when i heard these I started to overthink and think about the worse that I will have gallstones cause the doctor said I have it cause it runs in my family(my mother/grandmother and uncle had it) and I just think that it wont go away, and even if i doesn I will be worried all year if it came back. Im just so afraid. Also they said I should go get a blood check, but I said i will hesitate now cause last time i almost fainted and felt horrible the whole day, and now i hear from people i know that they went and they felt sick and vomited there. But the overthinking comes from me thinking if these little symptoms I experienced which I thought its because of anxiety, was because of health issues then the other symptoms I experience sometimes (headache and lightheadedness) are there cause of another health issue, and im worrying about my health, im afraid of death, i keep imagining myself if they tell me that i have terminal illness or something really bad and i dont know how to handle it. Now i feel nausea and i would say its because of stress but i keep thinking that its because of the health issues I have...I don't know how to handle this fear, if you ask others or therapists, they will say "yeah everyone is afraid of death and suffering" or "Try to think about something else" and i wont pay for advices like this...
