Covid Vaccine or Covid itself? So scared 😭

This is really getting out of hand for me personally. I just read online ( and i didnt even try to read it just popped up and was right in my face). But i read that an American Idol alum (32 years old) died of a heart attack. This is now like the 10th story i have read about younger people having heart attacks or cardiac arrests. I literally cannot take it much more. What is going on? And of course everybody is saying vaccine, vaccine, vaccine. As much as i don’t want to believe its from the vaccine im starting too. How do you explain all these young people having heart problems? And im one of these young people who is vaccinated. Im freaking out and i dont know what to do. Like i truly don’t know what to do. How can i live my life happily when im on edge everytime i feel a heart palpitation? Im so scared. Im so numb. Any advice would be great. I also just would like some input on if anyone thinks these things are happening from the vaccine or Covid itself? I know that Covid has really bad lifelong effects so maybe that could explain some things? I don’t know either way i don’t know what to do.

Here’s what I’ve heard - it’s how they administer the vaccines not what’s in them. From a fighting OCD standpoint researching this more could be a compulsion and looking for reassurance. Are you familiar with ERP and maybe maybe not techniques?

Here a link to a YouTube that I think is the one I heard about this in - if not it’s the same Dr but a different YouTube https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LEBGl8MVE-c have you tried “maybe I may die from the vaccine” instead of “will die” - for me changing the word makes it a better exposure in terms of my anxiety going up and then down. If the exposure is too much or just turns into rumination are there better techniques that work for you?

@Erin P Was this intended to be helpful? So sorry dont mean to be rude. But i didnt even watch the video all i had to do was read the comments to realize what the video was about. All its doing is clarifying my concerns. All the comments are about how people have been having heart issues since receiving the vaccine. So not only am i scared for myself but also all of my family who has gotten that vaccine.

@Erin P I would like to extend my apologies. I know that i asked you a question and you did your best to answer. Im so sorry. It’s just before in my head i was Always telling myself how these anti Vaxxers are just looking for trouble and bringing stuff like this up to be malicious. However seeing a video and so many people that have experienced side effects from the vaccine made it 100% real for me. I know that just because it happens to them doesnt mean it will happen to me. I really need to sit with uncertainty. Seeking information like i tried to above only made me feel worse. Again i am so terribly sorry.

I didn’t even think about the comments - I usually ignore them and just watch the video. I can see how this made things worse for you as they are the opposite of what you were looking for vs the info in the video. Again. I’m sorry.

Health anxiety please help x

Hey friends… I am in a really low place regarding my health anxiety. I am absolutely terrified of cancer. Im only 17 years old and im worrying more about health then living my life its very draining. At the moment I have a very chesty cough which has lasted around two weeks and a runny nose and just full sinuses. I woke up from my sleep tonight and woke up completely wet in sweat and itchy. I am terrified in case ive got cancer. I get so so scared It genuinely is not only affecting me but everyone else around me im pulling them down too. 💔 I am UK based and recently got a job and even then its all I can think about. Im crying my eyes out scared ☹️ To anyone else going through this your not alone and its so consuming. ❤️‍🩹

Fear of death.

When my friend was 17, she passed away. She had a heart condition which lead her to a heart attack, and it was devastating for all of us. Once I turned 17, everything came back. It started with research. I was constantly checking what the first sense to go was when you die, or how common a heart attack is. But now, it's turned into my brain telling me that if I don't stay up until 4:30 in the morning, when having to wake up at 6:30, then I will die, my family will die, or everyone will die. Or, if I don't touch my computer the exact same way 3 times I will die. I am so sick of these thoughts and I guess I just want to know that I'm not alone.

Health ocd is really bad today

Hi everyone. I take hydroxyzine 50 mg every night for anxiety for about five months. I’ve been experiencing at least one heart palpitation a day so of course I went down my googling spiral and saw people say it gave them cardiac arrest? I’m only 19 but I’m so so scared. Please someone help me.
