I can't ask anyone in my family but i wonder from where i got all of this OCD, ADHD and all... I just can guess this one thing that is My Childhood was Traumatic so my whole life as well so maybe from there.... Who knows Wish these things never happened :(
And I'm so sorry for the trauma you endured I truly understand and your not alone and we all have to be strong and not let this take our LIFE away you, me and everyone you really do matter and you are enough you are special and you deserve to SHINE!!!🌈

I've been wondering the same thing I guess it's always been there but like my Rheumatoid Arthritis it comes out of remission I believe it's like that as well something that's hiding inside of you wanting to have control over something in your LIFE or maybe possibly it's punishment I don't know anymore ALL I know is it's EVIL I don't want to say that it's the devil but something inside me thinks that it is at times and I'm not trying to trigger anybody but why why is it we can hurt ourselves so so easily..😔 I believe that OCD stems from many avenues like environmental like for instance if you have mold in your house or unhealthy conditions all the chemicals and stores that we go to, PTSD and it doesn't have to be horrible trauma it could be just one incident that could trigger you to have something go haywire to start the FIRE, physical health issues like autoimmune diseases, hormonal imbalances, the food were eating and genetics family history of somebody else who's triggered as well..🥴 I've been watching a show called "Shrinking" it's really good is about therapist and patients it's funny as well as touching your heart Jason Siegel and Harrison Ford great cast well written I think it might SHINE a light for some of you....🌈 P.S. Maybe think about talking to your family if you can you might be surprised and if you know your family and really look you might know someone who has similarities or who might fit the bill.. 💜❤️
Hmm i will try to talk to them about it but not now as Nobody Knows about my Illnesses in family and i didn't tell as they won't understand lol But i will definitely talk to them about it in future
actually my ocd was actually always there from childhood one two times used to trigger me... But it wasn't there fully enough to even notice Until 2019 came then it started showing visible symptoms But i didn't understand anything but realized something was wrong with me in 2020 during lockdown it intensified and i struggled a lot Those times were hell lol Finally in 2021 i got to know i had an illness which caused all of this But this ADHD thing came out of sudden i don't even know from where Ppl say ADHD shows up after 12 years old if it shows up in more time after that then you don't have it or something i don't know But i was more than 12 in 2020 In 2020 i didn't have any significant symptoms Now from 2021 from where it came like out of Nothing i don't know lol
@Have Some Chocolate 🍫 - Well then you've always been predisposed to have OCD then possibly it's hereditary and then again with PTSD and ADHD you could always be that way as well I believe and it could also manifest itself to be more aggressive at different times in our lives maybe kind of similar to bipolar as well I don't know this is my take on it though I'm not a doctor I know but it's my observations of what I see and my experiences of 54 years might have some credentials hahaha 🥴

@Caitlyn Abate Yeah lockdown made things harder for everyone Even for those who don't have mental illnesses I could control my 2019 ocd to certain extent in January February of 2020 without even having a clue about OCD until lockdown came in March then It intensified badly I don't know if i would have even diagnosed it if Covid didn't came as it was kinda under my control during The very fast of 2020 I just knew something was wrong and i had to control it somehow lol so it doesn't disrupt my daily life....

@Caitlyn Abate - It definitely makes sense it got worse for me too and my older son suffers with medical OCD now because of the lockdown he went through a lot we both did and still are I believe there's been more people now then ever before that suffer with mental health issues especially because of the lockdown 😔 And I believe that many who didn't have a strong OCD in them but we're predisposed to having it whatever it may be the OCD took over and messed up many unfortunately there so many triggers but one thing for sure I believe anyone can become OCD the mind is a mystery and now with so many things happening in the WORLD and exposures that are not GOOD for us it's no surprise so many are suffering 😔

Starting to think I have unresolved childhood trauma unfortunately. Health OCD is also driving my absolutely crazy but I'm too scared to go to my doctor. I worry about diabetes, illnesses, cancer, skin problems, etc. I just hope everything works out in the end. Right now I just can't do the things I love doing because I'm constantly worrying about everything. All of my worries are exacerbated and I just can't keep them away. They only come back.
So basically I didn’t know till my hocd started. But looking back at my life I had ocd since I was a kid. Like 6-7 years old. First time happening I remember that when I was doing stuff many times I had to say something like a little poem in my head to stop it. Then I had this thing were if I felt my left foot touch the floor 5 times I had to do the touch the floor with my right foot too. Then I had something I guess contamination??? Basically after washing my hands I had a sensation on my hand like I could still “feel” the germs and I had to wash them again. Then I started having thoughts of my family members getting hurt. I had intrusive thoughts about me hurting my dog. Then I had this obsession that a guy who used to be in my school is looking for me to beat me up. And how it’s this obsession about my sexuality even tho I never doubted or questioned it before. Is that possible??? Like can you be born with it? I’m pretty sure both my parents have it too. At least at some level. Take my father for example he had an obsession that he was going to die the moment he turned 30.
How do you deal with so many bad things that OCD makes you think about? Because ever since my therapist said it might not be OCD, even though that she believe it is, I think a lot that if it isn't, So I created such bad thoughts in my head. And my god, what a horrible thing. I never wanted this. My parents don't deserve such a bad daughter.
