OCD TATTOO
If you got a tattoo to help with your OCD. What would it be?? Just for fun.

This one is probably not so creative but having the word "maybe" tattooed on me..
@ThisIsNotTikTokOrTwitter That’s good one add a forked road and winner
@Adam1007 - Haha, yes!!
@ThisIsNotTikTokOrTwitter Yes! I’m always responding to my intrusive thoughts with “maybe” or “you may or may not…”
@ThisIsNotTikTokOrTwitter I thought about the MAYBE one too. Mine would have check boxes for yes and no. To be filled in accordingly, depending on the day.
@ThisIsNotTikTokOrTwitter i actually love this idea
@Ghostdog - That's awesome!
@ThisIsNotTikTokOrTwitter Maybe, maybe not I LOVE THIS ONE
A solar system inside a brain or something like that since my theme is existential OCD
@Tee10 Oooh good one
@Tee10 I have this one really bad it’s messing up my life
@Anonymous I know the feeling 😔
Boromir “one does not simply…”meme. Works for any ocd
Yk I’ve actually never thought abt that and thanks cause now I feel the urge to deep dive into what that would look like for me 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
@EMoon Your welcome
Momento Mori with a design. That way it would put the OCD in perspective that it really is not important in the grand scheme of things.
@777Q That’s a good one.
@777Q This is a great idea, I love it!
That was kind of a joke btw..
A brain with scribbles above it because my mind is always running
@iwillbealright Haha perfect
Having an unfinished tattoo would be great for dealing with ocd
@Mowgli Holy crap I hate it. That’s such a good idea. That would bug the crap out of me. Or, lopsided, or uneven. Arg!! My hands are sweaty. Hahahaha
@Ghostdog I did a tattoo in nepal a few years ago and an earthquake hit, and I never got to finish it
@Mowgli That’s amazing. I’d leave it unfinished. Makes for a great story. And something you and your ocd to work through.
@Ghostdog No, I mean I was the one doing the tattoo, it was at the nepal tattoo convention, the earthquake hit on Saturday afternoon while everyone’s was tattooing, it was very scary
@Mowgli Holy crap!! I need a new tattoo
@Ghostdog I haven’t been tattooed for years now, I don’t think I could handle the pain and trauma right now, maybe in the future, who knows. I miss the excitement that surrounds tattooing though
@Mowgli I’d let you tattoo me
@Ghostdog Thank you, I’ve actually stopped tattooing now, I don’t think it was very healthy for me, I do miss the money, but I gotta focus on overcoming ocd. Also, isn’t it funny how ocd works, we will be so fearful of something (fill in the blank) and at the same time be willing to let a random stranger we’ve met online tattoo us 🤣 I mean, for all you know, I could be mentally unwell 🤔😂
@Mowgli We are all a little mad. I had a friend who was a tattoo artist. I don’t think it’s healthy for him either. I’m glad you are on a better path now. I quit being a doorman at a nightclub, due to my better evolutionary reasons as well.
@Ghostdog Yup tattooing can be pretty crazy, I always used to say being a tattooist is like being a guitarist on tour all the time. God, being a doorman must be a hard job. I was just walking today to collect my car, these teenagers wouldn’t get out the way on the footpath, one of the boys barged me but came of worse, then lost face and started threatening me, I’m just looking around to see who’s about, thinking shall I? Then, my better self thought not worth it, I’d get bloody arrested, I had to walk away, he was still shouting at me while I was walking away, had to come home and have a beer, bloody teenagers, haha, I didn’t like them even when I was one myself 🤣
@Mowgli I still get crap from kids as well. Heck, a 70 year old threatened me at the gym recently. Because I patted his friend on the arm.
@Ghostdog Haha, that is pretty funny though
🤫 shush lol
@Anonymous Hahahaha good one
I want to write a book about faith and the cross of ocd. And how that looks with faith. I myself am Catholic but I am going to be writing open to all denominations. Because we are all brothers and sisters carrying our cross of OCD to get to heaven. Could you please comment a question you have? A struggle you have? or something may be a good topic to bring up in a book to represent or help those with ocd and searching in faith. Thank you.
Good morning to all. I have OCD and have had it since high school. However, I was not formed diagnosed until 2003, when I was 45 . I have a psychiatrist and Licensed therapist, and have been on Zoloft/sertraline ever since. Currently I have to have cataract surgery in a few weeks and I am very anxious about the whole thing. Of course this has been a trigger for my OCD and dealing with it the best I can. Any thoughts ?
If your OCD had a voice, what would it say most often? And how would you love to answer back?
