Anyone else get enraged at how much easier women can meet a partner than a man? A woman who is decently attractive has many men in her inbox on social media, while a man must stand out amongst all the other men who approach her.. does anyone else have a serious problem with accepting this, or maybe there is a different solution? I’m losing my patience.
If you're shy when it comes to talking to women you might wanna get some tips from guy friends and/or step out of your comfort zone and approach women?
@strawberry cupcakes No that’s the whole point, I have a real problem with being expected to take on all the risk and basically be at the mercy of a woman’s selection simply because of my gender. And I don’t expect you to understand how it’s enraging to me, considering you admit you are a women therefore you are always on the receiving end of the approach and essentially are always in position to select a partner simply by saying “yes” or “no”. I’m sure the convenience is very comforting as well as the knowledge that it will always be this way for you, unless you somehow end up single at an old age.
Yes, from my pov it’s pretty much always been this way too, but I feel like this happens bc of the way we’ve been socialized and how our culture/society is, in general. Idk a solution, but the best thing you can do for now is put yourself out there.

I think it's partially cultural, men being taught to pursue first a lot... I can understand it's frustrating tbh
It’s simply not fair. Things that are unfair tend to make people upset. Don’t see why anyone would be surprised that no one likes this?
@DaletheWhale If life was fair, then the more alcohol and pizza I consumed, the more athletic and mentally stable I would become.
@Mowgli Bad analogy, you see, it is widely understood that unhealthy foods and alcohol will ruin your health, in fact it’s required by law that students attend health class to learn those facts. You got to enjoy the alcohol and pizza, but there was a health trade off. But mentioning that women have the advantage in dating is considered taboo, and any man who speaks out about it gets the usual treatment; “suck it up, improve yourself, it’s your fault”. You are in fact reinforcing this view right now, by essentially invalidating my complaints and pointing the finger back on me, the man, to take full responsibility, and again, do all the work, just to be accepted as a potential candidate for dating.
@DaletheWhale My analogy is good. I find it unfair that pizza and beer is bad for you, that’s unfair in my opinion. You said things that are unfair make people upset, I’m upset about pizza and beer being bad for you
