I’m currently recovering from major surgery & I just want to say to everyone, don’t ever give up. You can do this. It’s hard, but you can get there. Believe in yourself & remember that you are taking in more than you know with each & every ocd therapy session you have, support groups you attend & others that you talk to here. I did.

If you are struggling a lot you can always try delaying the seeking reassurance to start with. It’s hard but can be done. Start off smaller if you have to. Delay seeking reassurance for 5 minutes even. Then next time try to delay for a little longer.

I’m not doing great - I’m tired of feeling this way. My thoughts of things that I did when I was a teenager scare me and make me feel like a monster. But they are so far away the person I am now as an adult. Because of false memory I question everything. My hurts everyday. But - I am alive - and I know I’m not alone. Really just trying to not go down the rabbit hole of google and seeking reassurance and certainly
@Jonathan123147 I was doing great earlier today and was able to get some chores done around the house. Took a nap and maaaan, did I wake up with feeling not myself with some guilt and despair for lunch and dinner with ocd for dessert. I am with you with the pain. I am sure in the past you chose to not go down the rabbit hole, do it again, put some music on and get some serotonin and dopamine going. Wish you the best Jonathan.

@Jonathan123147 I feel you. I am still a teen but regret a lot still. But that’s why we always have a “tomorrow” bc if something doesn’t go perfect today, you always have tomorrow to do better and improve

@JrPositive I feel like I’m depressed and I went to CVS and bought some vitamins and I feel better
I was doing very well but then I had an intrusive thought about depression and i cant stop googling and obessesing. I'm convinced I have depression
@JrPositive I was doing the same earlier. Just know that some days are harder than others and you might not be depressed.
Hang in there! Im sick with the flu and am too congested to sleep. My ocd gets bad when im sick. You are all strong! We got this!
