I was in the bathroom doing ERP because I share a room with my wife and daughter and my therapist told me to do it when I was alone and when I finished I noticed I was screen sharing with a TV around the house. I could’ve been in her brothers room or he parents room or the living room and im terrified that someone saw what I was looking at.
Firstly, kudos to you for bravely confronting your OCD with ERP. I’m so sorry to hear about this distressing incident. It’s essential to remember that ERP is a therapeutic method and does not reflect your true desires or intentions. Mistakes happen, especially with technology. @010010 Thank you I really appreciate it! It been a challenging journey but I definitely feel better about my OCD. This screen sharing incident happened about 2-3 months ago and I just remembered it now. No one has brought anything up but I’m 99% someone saw it because it was when everyone was home. I’m scared they view me different (no one knows I have OCD except for my wife)

It’s natural to worry about perceptions, especially after unexpected hiccups like the screen-sharing incident. But, given that no one has mentioned it for months, it’s possible they either missed it or didn’t dwell on it. The fact that it hasn’t been mentioned in a few months might indicate that it hasn’t altered their perception of you as much as you might fear. People often see things and then move on with their own lives without giving them much thought. If it ever comes to light, it could serve as a bridge to share the strength of your journey with OCD.

Anyone experience intrusive thoughts of their children during intimate moments? Have you done erp to this? I had one and continued slightly before running and needing to vomit now feel guilty anyone else experienced this?
I am doing ERP by my own because I can’t afford therapy. I exposed myself to babies photos online, changing diapers videos, baby genitalia . All was done with google . I honestly feel like I am predator by viewing these photos even though they are just babies. I seen also a picture on research article of a female patient she is a minor and they have done sexual abuse check on her . The image was so triggering, it was literally a vagina. ℹ developed lots if obsessions with increased groinal responses. And now I fear that I enjoyed all what I have seen.
What would I do for ERP if my OCD says because I didn’t do something correctly or remember something I will have panic attacks that don’t end?
