Hey everyone, I hope things are going well. I’ve been off this app for a while because I’ve been doing pretty well ocd wise (have had some slips but I’ve managed them). It’s been over a week since weaning off one of my medications, which was an antipsychotic, and so far nothing has felt bad but I’m a little scared I’ll feel withdrawals or something soon lol. Has anyone taken such a medication before for ocd and had success weaning off?
What kind was it?

@lexie_D I’ve heard it’s a great alternative to medications. Tbh I wish I never took meds but I was in such a terrible state months ago I felt like I just had to.
@Drew92 Nothing wrong with meds or natural alternatives! I personally want to try natural alternatives before I try meds again. I had a bad experience with Luvox, mostly cuz it was too high of a dosage but it still scared me.
@lexie_D Omg I’ve had a terrible experience with a high dosage too! It was Trintellix and it actually made my OCD worse. That’s when I changed doctor and he put me on new meds.
@Drew92 Omg it made my OCD worse too. anything that highers my anxiety will do that!
