@FinneganFox90 We’ve got lots of second hand stores over here, actually most people here go there to get their clothes. We call them ‘Pacas’ (plural). The undeserving thing I think I can relate to somewhat, and I have that happen to me in relationships. That’s cool that you are feeling good today, and you’re staying on top of your OCD. For the past few weeks, or something like that, I’ve been more committed to doing mindfullness. I felt I got a catalyst to do that, and I was getting tired of the deep anxiety I felt. I called someone like a spiritual mentor from my congregation, and they were really nice about my struggles. I decided then, with all that was leading up to it (cause of course I’ve had numerous other conversations with other people that have tried to help since like 2019). So I’ve been basically doing that and ignoring my OCD thought patterns. I do feel like my OCD has fueled desires that I would feel guilty having, but I’m trying to ignore that too. So basically I’ve been enjoying these past few weeks of less stress and worry, cause I was starting to have physical symptoms of anxiety and it was like woah bro. How about u? How’s your week been?

@FinneganFox90 Thank you for your message. :> I don’t know how OCD is defeated for everyone. Some OCD is more difficult to overcome it seems. For me, it still seems that the catalyst thing I mentioned was what helped to open the door for that. For you, going to the ER was like what enabled you to have that revelation that you mentioned, a catalyst for your growth when it comes to your OCD battle. It sounds like you’re feeling positive about things, although the number one thing seems to be difficult to touch. I don’t think I’ve ever had to deal with those physical symptoms you’ve mentioned. For me, I’ve hardly experience physical symptoms of anxiety, other than that mental pain that you feel. But like when the anxiety reared itself quite hard recently for me, I was feeling pressure in my head, and at least one of the times breathing more hard. Um, the mindfulness thing, I haven’t practiced it very much. I guess it’s ERP without the deliberate exposure part. I’m still new to this new situation, where I’m trying to throw my obsessions and compulsions out the window and learn how to adapt to things that still don’t feel always the best. I’m trying to see how to deal with my wrong desires religiously speaking, while also understanding when my thoughts are predisposed or in an OCD framework. When it’s OCD, it’s hopefully committed response prevention and maybe even mindfulness where you try to stay in the here and now if you’re having anxiety. For me, I should clarify, it’s more response prevention. It seems my thoughts aren’t flaring up really so far, so it’s not a lot of response prevention, but an already set pattern of not caring anymore, nor worrying about it anymore. Everyone’s journey is different. Again, thanks for your message, you’re nice.

@dust that's awesome to hear! i was worried about you. everything's okay here. OCD is flaring up again but i have a lot to be grateful for! I'm doing so much better I draw every single day. it took my hobbies from me before. you got anything you do for fun?

@777Q I’ll try to post about it. I’ve lived here for 8 years, and came here 9 years ago. I’m still not nervous about it. But I’ll try to post, but idk when I have power to recharge my phone lol. It shouldn’t be too big of a deal.

@777Q I went to Honduras recently, to San Pedro Sula. There’s those scary videos about it like Vice I think, but honestly, although I was staying in a nice neighborhood, it was pretty nice and the people I met were nice.

@777Q Erm, it wasn’t like super super close, like normally close. Basically, there was maybe some voter fraud. I think there are reports about it on the news if you type “Guatemala protests”
