I hope this helps: everybody in the world experiences uncertainty. OCD takes a normal experience of emotions and turns them into this feeling of impending horror of the unknown. But if that were really the case, everybody would be afraid and obsessive- not just OCD sufferers. Accepting uncertainty is more of an abstract feeling. It’s not having yourself say you’re okay with the worst case scenario; it’s neglecting to acknowledge any outcome. 0 expectations. And once you take the focus off the outcomes, the obsession will begin to diminish. Does that help? We can discuss it more

I see! Okay I relate to you because I used to have SEVERE religious OCD. The best thing you can do is distance yourself from the doctrine

As you said once you focus off the outcome but this Won't going to help me in a long run bcz brain gonna create one thkught which says"what if we are in denial " and there will be a bad outcome hidden in these thoughts... whenever I make a decision it sort of curses me like you gonna miserably fail in this , you will definitely go wrong by making such disastrous decision of your life along with it ,it creates huge amount of guilt, fear, anxiety and tons of bad feeling. My brain is totally against myself not onboard with my plan and showing the wrath of God if I just simply live my life because my obsessions revolves around salvation, goal of life, surrender to some god, afterlife, meaning of life etc.

I told my brain that ok I'm accepting uncertainty, let's see until afterlife comes, then brains creates as if by beating OCD I'm offending some god and if I choose to live life then there will be horrendous situation in afterlife

Logically I know these religious dogmas and their authenticity but my OCD wants 100% absolute certainty and keep compelling me to solve these metaphysical questions

That's what I'm asking , my brain says we are just slave of some god so just surrender to him/her otherwise I gonna face god wrath

That’s OCD talk, and it can be difficult to confront because in some cases it coincides with the religion, but trust me- DISTANCE yourself from the doctrine. God will not punish you for it

"God will not punish you " is kind of reassurance given by you but how to make my brain so strong that it can handle any worst case scenario

You can’t focus on the imaginary worst case scenarios. That’s part of accepting uncertainty

So, how did you overcome your severe religious OCD? You are a warrior because I'm so miserable by my OCD that even after knowing the therapy I can't have a courage to take baby steps to rebel against this horrible OCD

One more thing I'd like to add is when I accept the uncertainty then my brain throws a nagging thought"what if in this case accepting uncertainty is going to unacceptable" even after knowing I'm suffering very badly still I'm responding to OCD

Okay, you are just stating a LOT of OCD thoughts. Here’s what you should do: distinguish what is a personal though and what is an OCD thought. Make a list. If you determine something is an OCD thought than you need to address it head on even if it does cause existential fear/uncertainty
