Does everyone hate me

I have really terrible ocd over whether everyone hates me. I had a convo with one of my friends (he was initially interested but we just kind of became friends.) He said guys tend to like girls pics when the girl is pretty. He was initially interested in me. I know i sound really bitchy and superficial but I have really low self worth and the ocd isn't helping and I'm kind of hyperfixatijg on my face. I have this insecurity about being south asian. I've been told fairly often that I'm conventionally attractive and can certainly attract people. I'm also like super introverted and have a pretty odd personality for context like in high school people didn't like me because I wasn't like extremely liberal and people were politically correct I just tend to be odd and I feel like that's not acceptable if you're a girl. So I feel everyone just secretly hates me or I'm ugly and these are the two options.

Is this coming from like a “romantic everyone hates me point of view,” both, or just like a “general anyone hates me point of view?” I understand the feeling of “everyone hates me.” Not in the sense of attractiveness because I don’t feel that I am in any way, shape or form. However, there are what, 7 billion people on this planet? It would be insane to think that everyone hates you. Even if we just shrunk that population down to just people in your area. Someone is bound to like you (romantically or platonically.) Like I said, I wasn’t and am not attractive. At least, not physically. While all my friends in high school were getting boyfriends, I didn’t manage to have my first one until I was 21 and it lasted a few months. However, I managed to snag a husband so idk. I’m just rambling at this point 😅

i completely understand obsessing over thinking everyone hates me. my ocd has also caused me to hyperfixate on my appearance. if you ever wanna talk about it with someone i’d be happy to. you described almost the exact same things i’ve bee struggling with

Yea I talked to my super popular friend and he was like yeah no it's bullshit. That no one hates me. I'm still ocd over whether or not I'm pretty and whether people like my posts

Do you know if something happened to trigger this feeling? When me and a friend had a falling out I spiraled a bit into thinking nobody liked me anymore and everyone was talking about me and judging me. There definitely were people that were talking about me but there were also people that really cared about me and had my back but I just assumed. There were also people that didn't know me. It took a while but the negative and judgmental people left my life and now I have some new friends. Stay strong. Some people will judge you but there are lots of good people out there who won't.

I have a weird one idk if its OCD but I know im a decent guy, at least average looking but I feel like I need validation from girls. Its like i just want to know for sure if im attractive and how much is so… perhaps from a fear of not being good enough. With much reluctance and self-hatred i downloaded a dating app and actually did get matches and conversations, etc which surprised me and gave me like a “high” for a while and a sense of relief like “oh thank goodness I must be attractive then” but no matter what, somehow my anxiety would always find a way of convincing that I wasnt. Ie: if a girl and I werent compatible and she unmatched me I’d feel like I wasnt good enough, or if she asked me to hang out id just think she must be easy and says that to many guys etc. Like no matter what my anxiety prevails and despite the reassurance I got from actually doing decently well on this app, it has only left me feeling more anxious, rejected, depressed and confused. Is this OCD?

this is not particularly ocd related but I need help. I have experienced all my life that most girls don’t like me and always find ways to make me feel insecure. Even girls that doesn’t me, I feel an energy that is very toxic from so many girls that I meet. But it’s always me that deals with it, I don’t know anyone else that experience it. I have been told that I am pretty and that I have a beautiful soul that makes other girls jealous, but I don’t understand what it is about me that makes other girls behaving like this towards me. Therefor I don’t have a lot of friends, that also has been a trigger to my hocd, can someone help me understand this?

Ocd in appearance

I'm a South Asian woman and I've been told that I'm very pretty. I think I'm not bad looking. I'm 19 and on my dating app profile I definitely look decent. I also have a more goth/alt vibe going on. I went on reddit and there were a lot of posts on the indian American shnreddit on how indian women were generally not seen as desirable. I don't live in America, I live in a very diverse area in Toronto. I don't think my race is realistically the reason I was getting fee matches. I observed tinder and bumble were glitchimg. Ik this for sure. My hinge was 50/50 and was Def weird on my phone and I've been told that can happen. I never get hit on but I've noticed men checking me out on many occasions and I've also been told I'm kind of intimidating (in person). I've had men slide into my dms like twice but I've also tried to start convos with guts (purely platonic ) who didn't respond. I'm almost certain my negativity bias due to depression and ocd are at play here but my mind is like well no one thinks you're hot. Even though friends. Family and even guy friends are like yeah no you're pretty. I hope I don't sound narcissistic but I genuinely struggle to find worth outside of potential beauty. I've always been super weird never finding in so OMG PEOPLE LIKE ME ? is a nee feeling
