@Liv_Tarot I’ve literally never taken care of myself very well, as far as my diet.. and I have also been under a shit ton of anxiety the past few months.. so that actually makes a lot of sense! Thank you for commenting! I think my anxiety has gone down a little but I’d like to stick it out for at least a month (or longer) and see where I’m at then. I’m definitely not equipped to manage OCD on my own anymore🥴

@black_sunrise Like clockwork it was always finals week for me, now that I’m out of school it happens when my OCD gets worse or if I have a week where I don’t eat well/ drink more than normal. It’s so hard to keep up with health, everything else seems way more important in the moment until you start to get sores 😓 I joined this app to try to help curb symptoms like that, you’re not alone!!!

@Liv_Tarot Gahhh that makes SO MUCH SENSE for me, I’ve been under a LOT of stress the past few months (not to mention, just getting into a heated frosted on Sunday with my dad 😒)… I definitely don’t eat well, didn’t before this med either but I’m willing to do better! I AM drinking more water, sooo, that’s a start? 😅 but yesss, only until I am writhing jn pain, do I notice that I need to make some changes… 😅😅😅 thank you so so much for commenting!!! That’s extremely helpful because I wasn’t finding much online 🤦🏻‍♀️ I honestly don’t know how long I can go before I see a doctor… I tend to overthink everything and put myself into a panic attack 😣 I’m a hot mess lol I really appreciate you responding to my post! 💙💙💙

@jpell0w If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been taking it? Have you had any side effects? I keep trying to tell myself that I shouldn’t be on it.. but I know that I need to. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@black_sunrise I don’t mind at all! When I first started taking it I was about 14 I’m now 31 off and on unfortunately not consistent, before that it was Zoloft. Although for myself I found after consistent use of Fluoxetine I had odd bursts of energy at times. But it didn’t affect my mood in a negative way.

@jpell0w Thank you for sharing with me! I definitely didn’t want to overstep a boundary with getting too personal. I do have random bursts of energy but I also drink energy drinks before work sooo that may contribute to it, too 😅 I got into a HUGE argument with my dad on Sunday sooo maybe that exacerbated the situation? Gahhhh only time will tell 😂 if I’m being honest though, I feel like my mood hasn’t been as “spicy” lately! Sooo, there’s that?! 😆

@Anonymous I know the last time I was taking a medication, that I was Vitamin D deficient.. I’m not sure about B-12. Now that I think about it… I haven’t gotten any bloodwork yet since I started taking this prescription… 😬 I’ve just been so busy with work and haven’t had the time… should I stop taking this until I have bloodwork done? At least, in your opinion?

@black_sunrise Not in my opinion, no, but Vitamin D is also an important nutrient. I asked about B12 because they can cause canker sores. Both have been linked to psychiatric symptoms, so be kind and generous with yourself if your labs tell you that you need them

@black_sunrise Such a weird side effect lol 😆 it was so painful but luckily after putting some like protective gel on it (I’ve forgotten what it’s called) it cleared up within around a week - so if you’ve got anything like that, would recommend!

@LJP05 It’s literally THE weirdest side effect I’ve ever experienced from a psych med before 😅 I will definitely look into that! I hate this so much lol
