You are on the ball . I am also limiting my candy , better for my blood glucose levels and the dentist 🦷 visits also . I am trying to eat more fruits , vegetables 🥕 and whole grains.

I've been looking into this recently. Just bear in mind it's the fibre in fruit that makes it really healthy as you digest the fructose at a healthy rate. You'll still get an energy boost like normal sugar but it won't be like a sugar rush from a fizzy drink etc. Don't juice the fruit as it gets rid of that fibre and you'll have a glucose spike and crash. Smoothies are still considered OK. As for sweets, if you do have them try to remember they're a treat and definitely not healthy. (especially the stuff that looks like it was made in a science lab with completely unnatural colours)
