I love the app calm! I used to have so much trouble sleeping but now I just listen to an episode of Calm every night and it really helps me go to sleep.

1st of all I’m so sorry you’re going through this tough situation. I’ve currently dealing with similar issue. i found few things that helps me fall asleep that are bad i guess? 1-listing for some peaceful music (TWD mercy of the living/Tomb Raider niflheim silence. etc) these type of music are really helping me sleep every night. even today! 2-loop sound (air con/fan/wind. etc) 3- this might sound weird. But masterbating before going to bed consume energy so it kinda helps me in some extreme situation where literally I can’t sleep at all. 4-just looking at the stars (doesn’t help alot) I hope it could help you

Thank you for the suggestions. I have a fan going for noise and also to cool down my room. But it hasn’t been helping. It’s better than no fan noise but stopped helping a while ago. I don’t listen to music so don’t really know where to start with that or if it’ll help, but I’ll try it. Also my stomach really hurts from 8 hours of anxiety so I don’t want to do anything that uses energy. I’m a mess.

Never mind, I figured it out. And it’s actually kind of helping. Thank you so much. Listening to your first suggestion (TWD mercy of the living) and feeling like I might be able to fall asleep.

I have barely slept in three days, maybe two hours a night. I feel so overwhelmed and uncomfortable right now. I cannot, for the life of me, stop confessing. I feel absolutely unforgivable, like no matter what it is, I am irredeemable. These waves of guilt and dread keep hitting me so hard. Every time I sleep, all I do is dream-ruminate. I analyze every tiny detail of whatever I am obsessing over, even in my sleep. It almost feels easier to stay awake, not that I have been able to do anything else. I feel so drained. I am scared to sleep. I hate my brain. I feel so anxious.

I feel like it’s just me. But at night when I start to fall asleep, play on my phone, or watch TV; I’ll get major intrusive thoughts and a butt load of anxiety. Has anyone felt the same about this? How have you managed it? It’s getting exhausting and even causes me to sleep-less.
