I love the app calm! I used to have so much trouble sleeping but now I just listen to an episode of Calm every night and it really helps me go to sleep.
Okay. you can download these type of music and play them on loop version so that it keeps playing over & over again. I hope it works waiting for your feedback
1st of all I’m so sorry you’re going through this tough situation. I’ve currently dealing with similar issue. i found few things that helps me fall asleep that are bad i guess? 1-listing for some peaceful music (TWD mercy of the living/Tomb Raider niflheim silence. etc) these type of music are really helping me sleep every night. even today! 2-loop sound (air con/fan/wind. etc) 3- this might sound weird. But masterbating before going to bed consume energy so it kinda helps me in some extreme situation where literally I can’t sleep at all. 4-just looking at the stars (doesn’t help alot) I hope it could help you
Thank you for the suggestions. I have a fan going for noise and also to cool down my room. But it hasn’t been helping. It’s better than no fan noise but stopped helping a while ago. I don’t listen to music so don’t really know where to start with that or if it’ll help, but I’ll try it. Also my stomach really hurts from 8 hours of anxiety so I don’t want to do anything that uses energy. I’m a mess.
I don’t really know how to download music. Lol. Do I do that through an app or something?
Never mind, I figured it out. And it’s actually kind of helping. Thank you so much. Listening to your first suggestion (TWD mercy of the living) and feeling like I might be able to fall asleep.
Not OCD related but anyone else associate sleep with being "bad"? Like when it comes to going to sleep I'm super anxious and I can't shut my brain off so now I just push off sleep as much as possible. Any tips on making bedtime not so miserable?
Tips for getting to sleep when I can't be alone with my thoughts? I'm scared of putting my phone down at night because my brain goes into overdrive. Anyone got advice? I've tried melatonin, white noise, music, etc
im so tired. i just want to fall asleep, but every time i’m about to im interrupted by another intrusive thought, some in the form of another person’s voice. it’s like my brain isn’t letting me fall asleep. any advice??? this is maddening.
