@Julieat that’s one of the best things you can do. Doubting you have OCD is a really common symptom of OCD , and I can understand you focusing a great deal on your dreams , but it’s best to accept that they may mean something , but they also may not mean a thing at all. You find a good balance when you do that , which I know some people do struggle with. Best of luck :)

So, my therapist really has helped me today, I feel more myself again, more connected, and optimistic :) There is actually more than one way to interpret my dream. I've realised that I need to keep myself busy, because I need a sense of direction (and I accept to not have everything figured out!) and that yoga and mindfulness are ones of the best tools I have, I think being present is important when struggling with OCD and rough times (and good ones too!). I usually don't like writing posts and commenting but I though it may help someone & I hope I can bring some positive vibe in the world... :) Thank you @xiiiandreww for your support, it is very kind !

@Julieat I’m so glad that it went well ! And you’re totally right that it can be interpreted in many different ways. I really wish I knew that sooner but I’m glad I do now. I’ve never tried yoga but I’m glad it helps you out , I hear lots of great things with it along with meditation too. So that’s great :) I’ll always be here , keep up the good work ???

Hi Julie ! Checking for physical reactions is exactly what is going to cause them unfortunately. I’m not sure of the specifics of what you’re going through , but if you want to open up a bit more I’d be happy to help. :) As for dreams, I wouldn’t at all put any weight on them honestly. Dreams don’t always have connections to reality , and you’re probably dreaming of these things because they scare you. That’s why it’s a nightmare ;) it’s something we try to push away but that’s why it always shows up. I hope your therapist helps tomorrow ! Let us know how it goes

Thank you for your answer and support :) I think I'm struggling with ROCD and HOCD, I'm doubting everything, even the fact that it is likely it is OCD. I usually pays a lot of attention to my dreams, so that's very scary... I'll discuss it with my therapist !
