Woman that obsessing over other women (Sex-OCD

So I’m a woman and I’m with my boyfriend for 1,5 years. I realise that every time I see a woman (whoever she is) I imagine subconsciously her kissing. This happens a lot and I a knowledge it then but then I ignore it totally. Now I realised this is happening. How to know if it’s an obsession? Now I ruminate in order “not to be a lesbian”. Also when I see a man and a woman I will firstly check woman’s characteristics. I know that I would like one day to experience something with a woman but not something deep and only as a fantasy. Help…

How more you think about it, how bigger it gets. So try to not react on those images and you will see it gets better. If you feel like you're not loving your boyfriend because those thoughts just ask yourself "how far I would go for my love towards him" everyone also experiences even straight ppl had kisses with friends etc.

@Anonymous I feel like somebody has told me that it’s normal or maybe a need for a straight woman to kiss once a girl or think about a girl sexually.

@Love12 I feel like since I was a child I was just admiring woman beauty on tv or in reality. It’s like I’m obsessed to do that but subconsciously. I don’t control it, it just happens. I don’t have a problem to do something with a woman but I couldn’t imagine myself as a lesbian. I want to be with a man and have children. I really want to be with a man.

@Love12 Haha idk about that , but maybe try? If you put yourself in that situation and kiss a woman thoughts could stop bothering you because you felt nth . But ocd could make you think that you did like it. In that case remember that if you're bothered about that thought "what if I liked it" then you didn't like it. Because if you did like it you wouldn't be bothered.

@Love12 I understand but if you didn't love him you wouldn't be triggered. But if you talk about the fact that you have those thoughts make you feel guilty , remember that it's not what you can control. Ocd targets the things you care about. If you will react less on those thoughts it will fade away slowly.

All you need to do is stop trying to figure it out. The figuring it out has become the problem. You are ruminating trying to solve a problem that doesn’t need solved and has no answer. If it had an answer you would have known it long ago and it wouldn’t now have become an ocd theme.

So I’ve SOOCD since I was in 8 th grade and it got really bad when I had an intrusive thought as to what if I was bi. And ever since then I’ve had self destructive behavior to where I would think the thoughts on purpose or about women and checking them out and flirting with them. ( I identify as straight) and over time these thoughts and self destructive behavior hasn’t bothered me and now they feel apart of me I know apart of it is ocd but also it’s me like me willingly looking at women and me wanting to have sexual thoughts or feel aroused and in reality if I never had ocd I would never think this way I could live without women and never sleeping with them I do have a bf and I love him and am attracted to him rn thought bc of what happened last night with a women it’s hard to feel that can anyone relate?

Needing SO OCD Advice

I went out last night with a couple of girlfriends. One of them is contemplating divorcing her husband bc of a drinking problem (she is straight) and made a joke about running off and joining the “lesbian island”. She then continues to say “making out with a girl is one thing” but that she could never actually BE with a woman sexually, etc. Well… this has triggered my SO OCD significantly because I’m thinking, well why does she think it’s okay to just kiss/make-out if she doesn’t identity as bisexual? I mean she is beautiful and I’ve heard all my straight friends say the same thing. So I start to worry by thinking, well I find her very attractive - does that mean I want to make out with her and see what she’s talking about? Just to note, I also identify as straight and am married. So this is just so damn frustrating and confusing. Especially bc society shows women kissing all the time on reality tv shows etc (who present themselves as straight). So now I’m having intrusive thoughts and making myself think sexual things to “check” if I’m still straight. Ughh..any advice would be greatly appreciated. And if someone could please explain why a straight woman would make such a comment - that would be very helpful.

so-ocd

So I identify as a lesbian and I am in a committed relationship with a wonderful girl. But i’m stressing that I have crushes on boys I go to school with. I get anxious around them, which I think I mistake for excitement. I obsess over it in my head which confuses me a lot. Idk I also never think about them sexually or romantically but I think about them often which is scaring me. Any advice?
