I see a lot of users promoting an app by the name "unstuck", they claim that it helped them in various ways, I personally haven't tried it, not saying it's bad or good, but I became very sceptical because of how hard it's promoted here, does anyone have any experience with this app?
I’ve had experience with it. It was actually pretty helpful until they asked to pay🙄 I think it’s like a 3 day free trial or something
I tried it but because its somesort of chatbot i dont find it engaging. I rather speak with real people, knowing its a real actual person and get help. I tried the free trial ones only, then it ask me to pay. You will need to type if you have compulsion,etc, describe it and it will suggest some solutions. It records it too. Glad it help others, just not for me.
Agreed, sharing your struggles to an AI bot won't cut it and it doesn't feel right either, that's my pov
It's ai bots. Advertising for an ai app. Some people have said it's good. I downloaded it but didn't want to give it my details so deleted it.

Good morning, I have been noticing more and more that I might have OCD. I am currently a student and this is causing me to slack a lot during school. I am a student who has a 504 plan (accommodation for my mental health) and would like to add this app on my 504 due to my school having a no phone policy. My question is, how can this app help me while in school? What are things that can happen during school that might lead me to using this app? I am new to this app and barley finding out that I might have OCD. If any clarification needs to be made on this post please let me know! :)
Ok so I just downloaded this app like two days ago because I was looking for a OCD specialist. Maybe this is just my opinion but the posting’s on this app can be super triggering. If feels like even sharing your experience on an app like this can contribute to fueling OCD. So many people I see reassurance seeking, confessing and posting the same things multiple times to gain certainty. Makes me wonder if this app is counterproductive to the point of OCD treatment. I’m guilty of spending hours scrolling through the post trying to find people who relate to me, but in the end it makes me more anxious and fuels my OCD. Idk what do you guys think.
I told my OCD group about NOCD and one of the members brought up that this app, despite its intent to create a safe community for sharing OCD experiences could potentially be used for reassurance seeking, thus contributing to compulsions. I’ve noticed some posts about people venting and asking for reassurance and I wonder the same thing.
