Worried about eyes

Im scared and sad. Have had this obsession about something happening with my eyes for years, and this weekend I got sand in my eye with contact lenses in and could not get it out. Kept wearing lenses bc I thought maybe my eyes were just really dry and my family didnt take me seriously bc I always worry about my eyes. Went to doctor today and it was still there so they flushed my eye but I need to come back tomorrow and cannot wear these lenses anymore Now scared for the future and not sure whether all the sand got out bc my eyes still feel bad :(

Don’t worry, my friend!! It’s going to be okay. I think I would just trust the doctors on this one. Sometimes eyes can continue to feel scratchy when nothing is in them because they just haven’t healed yet. If we have OCD clouding us, you can probably trust everything the doctors are saying and leave it at that :):)

I think you will be okay, but it will probably be uncomfortable for a few days, the eyes are a bit harder to heal than other places. They are a super sensitive place on the body. I hope you feel better.

oh man, i'm really sorry to hear you're going through this. eye stuff can be super scary, especially when it's been a long-standing worry for you. 😞 it's tough when it feels like your fears are coming true, but it's good you saw a doctor. i've got a different ocd theme myself, but the feelings of fear and uncertainty? totally get that. so, about managing these tough moments, my local ocd support group recommended this app called "unstuck ocd therapy tools." it's pretty neat because it offers ai-personalized guidance and exercises right when you need them. might be worth checking out to help with those intense feelings. also, the ocd reddit has been a helpful spot for me to read about others' experiences and feel less alone. 🌟

So I think my ocd that is connected to my peripheral vision has gotten worse. I’m paranoid that I have some brain tumor or a form of psychosis. I’m just constantly hyper aware of my peripheral vision. Just a small stain or mark on the floor makes me nervous cause I can’t ignore it. I sometimes feel I see things that aren’t there and idk if it’s my mind playing tricks on me but now it’s getting hard to focus on things in front of me because my peripheral vision will distract me. Ughhhhh how do I diagnose this. I can’t stop thinking about my peripheral vision. When I manage to distract myself and start enjoying and focusing on something in front of me my brain will bring it back to how wack my peripheral vision seems. I’m scared and I hate this. I can only seem to focus when I move around but when I sit down that’s when this shit starts up again and I’m just terrified of what this means for my peripheral vision and my wellbeing.

Scared

Ive been doing well with managing my ocd for a while since ive been putting all my focus on my work. But today was a particularly bad day, and im scared that I might be getting a flare up again. My last one was horribly debilitating for months so I am terrified of it occurring again, even though this time around im better equipped with a psychiatrist and meds. But its just such a scary feeling of doom and panic, I havent been able to sleep all night. I just hope im overthinking it again and that ill be ok.

eye focus

Please help I'm so scared. So I've been focusing on seeing pixels for 2-3 days now and today I woke up tired and I can't seem to make my eyes stay focused. I can unfocus them on command and I've been doing that the entire day. I can't seem to make them stay focused. Unless Imm distracted and focusing on something else. I'm so anxious that this is another symptom of something serious. Has anyone experienced this? I have extreme health ocd and I can't stop thinking about this
