Hey! Anyone here with ADHD and OCD, i have a question. Does ADHD medication reduce OCD symptoms? I haven’t been prescribed with OCD meds but i have been prescribed with ADHD medication and was wondering if it helps with OCD.
I've heard that ADHD meds can sometimes make OCD symptoms worse depending on the person, but it would be best to talk to your doctor about it :) I don't have any personal experience with it, nor am I a doctor, but that's what I've heard personally
Hi! I have ocd and adhd and take meds for both! Personally my adhd meds help my ocd because they make me focus/be present instead of my mind wandering! But it’s different for everyone! Lmk if you have any questions!
They took me off of ADHD meds because it was causing my OCD episodes but I need to get back on them because now my mind is all over the place!
I have been taking Prozac 40mg daily it seems to be helping my ocd . I read that 60-80 mg has seemed to help people more with ocd Wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks
Hi all, I’m curious is anyone taking medicine for their OCD and if so which one and is it helping? I’ve been on Prozac for almost 7 weeks and I just don’t think it’s doing much. I’m only on 30mg so perhaps I need to get to 40.
I’m positive I have OCD I don’t think get too many compulsions but the obsessions are what mess with me. I’ve recently started medication for depression that is as a side effects supposed to treat ocd but I’m not noticing anything with the symptoms. Also who do I go to to try to get an actual diagnosis?
