Sorry i have to repost, i see alot of posts doesnt get the attention, i scrolled down to check my post but i saw that around my post there were alot of other people that doesnt get a comment or even a like or something. I know its not possible to react to everyone but now there like 1 in 10 posts get atleast a reaction. Im not blaming people, maybe the app is slowly dying which is sad... However here's what i posted.
This is my worst theme. I hate it!!! Honestly I agree with the thoughts without acting and go about my day now. Like “yup maybe that could happen but who knows.” It takes a lot of practice but you’ll get there
Yeah its horrible, mine gives me reasons, when i have a problem and even i got to a point where it was like im agreeing the thoughts cause my respose was "okay im doing it cause i had enough" but then i realized what i said. Im scared sometimes to tell this to someone cause it really sounds like im actually have tendecies, cause im questioning if its right or not. I feel like i have to get the best answer so i know i wont do it, but even in the christian community people say its forgiven,then i get thoughts like why shouldnt i do it then... and it scares me. I can make it go away if i wont give attention to it but it still comes back at this area, i need to change how i view this but i dont find the answer. And as i heal more sometimes i feel like maybe i was actually suicidal, and it scares me and im back again... Im scared that people would say maybe i have to accept that i was suicidal and its okay, cause the problem might be that i dont accept it and im in denial fighting with it... Something here needs to change
@PRIV8 Sometimes i just get so irritated and angry about this that i say lets do it, im tired of it...is this even ocd? It feels like i want to cope with that by dying which is actually what suicidal tendecies are. Even if i dont want to, in that second it feels like cause im so lost in how i feel. I really feel like im lying to myself and i actually have tendencies
We get confused when we are small children by other people’s actions towards us which is not our fault. Learn to know your own thoughts and beliefs. Also, know that you have the power to change any thought that you choose to change! You are a powerful, wonderful Being who can create anything you choose to create. You can kill your self. The problem with that is this - you only kill the body that your mind and soul are using right now. Your consciousness never dies. There is no death, only transformation. And, you are doing it! I have been where you are at more than once. It is a good place to be, because you are on the path to a Higher Awareness. Peace and Love to you ❤️ Good work! And, keep loving yourself more everyday! hello! my first time posting a comment here- i know the feeling. the fact that you are consciously asking yourself “what these feelings mean” obsessively, alludes to OCD undertones. most suicidal people view it as a soothing, strangely comforting idea of ending the pain, something that is a certain end to whatever it is they’re going through. but OCD will make you afraid of those thoughts, and induce anxiety, meaning you really don’t want to inflict harm on yourself, it is an obsession that attaches itself to real depressive emotions. 🤍
What about those times when i feel so angry and tired that it actually comes up that i will do it? I even get thoughts like its okay, i wont suffer anymore, i dont care about others... it comes with feelings too. I heard stories people dealing with self harm and suicidal thoughts and they said they hated it but yet shared their stories like they were suicidal. Also i heard that suicidal people wants to do it, feel good about it, well than that would mean they cant heal from that, you cant help them, but many recovered from suicidal tendencies. So how do you know?
I didnt wanted to post about this but it makes me really sad right now. This post will be about Christianity so if you believe in something else dont read it cause i will mention things that might trigger you. Im struggling with my faith right now and i feel like christianity might be the same like other religions and beliefs. I wont come with the "if theres a God prove it, i want Him to show up" thats ignorant, but i think about some things that keeps me stuck. Before christianity i was really desperate to find the meaning of life so i read about spirituality. Alot of people believe in that and live a peaceful life, cause that thinking makes you have positive behaviours cause they found a meaning. We say other religions are false things but then we say ours is true cause "we feel like its true". So its all about how you feel. Back then i just couldnt relate to spirituality and i found people who were liars and strange people, but we know christians can be that too, so i left spirituality cause it didnt made me feel good. But maybe if i wouldve stayed there and learn more, it generates the same feeling as i have now towards God and now i would say thats the truth cause i feel at peace and that im loved. Many spiritual people feel that, without christian beliefs. Non believers too realized a long time ago that self love is so important. So the problem is that i can never explain why do i believe, i always say "cause i feel that its real" well, if i would be so desperate to pray to a cat God and make myself believe everything I have is from that cat i would feel like its true. So my faith is about how i feel... which can be easily manipulated. And many times people said to me "its just a view, it makes you happy cause youre afraid that life doesnt bavw a meaning" and now i kinda feel like it can be true. Many will say faith is relational, but i can make that relation to anything, as is said if i think theres a big cat somewhere who loves me it can become relational... and then where all this ends it sounds like well God is with us but he doesnt do anything to intervene, you might now feel Him, we dont have any evidence, in the end of the day you just have to trust theres someone who will give you something after this horrible life. And that sounds like you want to give meaning to life. Maybe i didnt got the answers from the best christians, but it sounds to me like you jjst have to trust theres someone out there, and that belief will make you happier... But its the same with every other religion tho... Native americans believed in many Gods and it gave them meaning and a happy peacefull life. But we say thats false... why? Isnt our belief the same? I hope i get some loving anwers, cause im not trying to ruin anyones belief, im just struggling with my faith.
Finding this app has helped me a lot in feeling like I'm not isolated and I've definitely met so many kind and helpful people here. You guys have helped me on my darkest days. However, because of my fragile state of mind, I think scrolling on here is becoming a compulsion and I feel like I end up triggering myself more by scrolling through some posts. I think it just ends up adding more to my intrusive thoughts and more ammo for my false memories and POCD to latch on to. And I know exposures are good for treating OCD, but this level of exposure seems to be doing more harm than good. So I will try to be less active (maybe I won't, who knows lol).
So I’m always telling people who say I’m not getting any help or advice on my post that maybe those people just don’t know what to say or they’re afraid of possibly making the situation worse… well while that is completely understandable I feel like the amount of help/advice/ interaction has went down drastically on this app.. again not complaining I’m thankful for everyone on here but I just wanted to know if others have felt the same way
